Summary: Really a great computer for the price! I love this computer. The keyboard is back lit (when plugged in) so you can see the keys in the dark. It's got great graphic card set up. Really, it's the best you'll get for the price. Great if you want to surf the web, watch movies, listen to music, and especially gaming. Absolutely the best laptop I've owned. Don't know what else to say except that if you have the money, I definitely recommend getting it.
Summary: I've had my machine for about a month now and I must say I like a lot, it's a little touchy at first it takes getting use to. The touch pad is like I said a little too sensitive, but it's not a big problem. Windows 8.1 is great don't know if I'll up grade to 10. As with anything you can find flaws with any product, for the money it's a very good computer.
Summary: After 4 month of using, I met a lot of issues. And I still met them until now. This computer does not support internet, 30 min after connecting it freeze and became very hot. It will restart itself.
Summary: I have been using this laptop for about three months. Battery life isn't fabulous, but its not something I'm going to complain about because it does reflect the specs quoted by the manufacturer. Ideally, Acer should have worked on a better battery, but say what, I wont complain because I was aware of what I was purchasing. The laptop itself works great. Fast; that killer processor combined with the 8 GB RAM can dispense with multiple jobs in a snap.

Summary: I'll keep this short as a pros/cons list. Pros: Great weight, wonderful performance and quality (can run my best games on the highest graphics. E.g. Skyrim, Dishonored, etc.), does not heat up easily, and has an overall great feel to it. Cons: One combo port for a headset with one outlet (ergo, a microphone/headset splitter is required if you have a standard headset), no CD/DVD player (requiring external hardware), and glitchy touchpad.

Summary: Brought a brand new Aspire V5. This laptop is my worst experience with Acer laptops and I will never spend one cent with Acer products from now on. It takes forever to boot up and to do anything you ask it to do. Completely a waste of my time to ever figure out how to use it.
Summary: Have had the laptop for probably a year. Pros. -Lightweight -Keypad. -Plays some games well. -Keyboard is nice. -Quite -Looks sleek Cons - Doesn't stay charge very long while watching videos. Maybe 2 hours - I see a tare in the screen seen because of flimsy monitor. - To get the full use of the APU you will need to upgrade the ram. - Can get hot in your lap. - It does not seem to run windows 8.1 very quickly.
