Summary: Exactly as advertised. It was easy to set up but updates took a long time. I wish computer companies would update the OS before they sent them out. This is an excellent value for a touch screen laptop. I added a 4 GB memory stick quite easily, giving me a total of 8 GB. It does everything I want in a laptop. One complaint is that it seems heavier than I expected but not overly so.
Summary: Product is fast, looks good, and meets almost all expectations. The one thing that does not meet my expectations is the durability, meaning the keyboard warping almost immediately (within a few days after getting it).
Summary: I like this machine overall. It is a bit heavier than I had originally wanted (4.75# roughly), but is slim and compact otherwise for having a 14" screen. I enhanced the Core i5 processor by upgrading to 8 GB of system RAM. Getting used to Windows 8.1 has involved a steep learning curve and I'm still not sure how much I like it. Most of my prior programs proved compatible and there are some helpful programs included on the computer already.
Pros: The touch screen navigation is alright, but I did not buy it for this feature.
Cons: I've had this laptop for about 4 months and it has been clunky and difficult to use since the beginning. I got it on sale during Cyber Monday thinking it was a good deal because of the markdown. Here are a list of all the cons:
Summary: I've owned this laptop now for about six weeks, and I'm not having any issues. Windows 8 and a touchscreen laptop have been a bit of a learning curve for me, but I'm getting along fine. I would recommend it.
