Summary: This refurb unit was a bargain. It is not fast, by any means, but it is fine for home use. Do not plan to be a power user with this computer. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with MS Office installed. I adjusted some settings to reduce visual effects and turn off unneeded services; was able to speed it up a little bit.
Summary: I am a broke college student currently going for business marketing. After a very bad experience with my last dell laptop (multiple software issues, hours on the phone with tech support, many factory and hard resets of my computer, and eventually a complete crash of the computer), I became content with doing most of my schoolwork on my desktop.
Summary: I do NOT have anything good to say about this laptop, other than for the size of it. I love the small size. Other than that, I DO NOT like this thing at all, that is my opinion. It is so slow, it is amazing how slow it can be, and that is almost right out of the box. Seriously if you want something that actually runs and works, pick another one. I don't write many reviews, but for this I really felt others should know just how slow this really is.
Summary: It is light and fairly quick considering the 1 ghz. The touch screen is handy. The adjustment to windows 8 is a bit of a consternation. But it turns out to be ok. Videos are choppy occasionally which I attribute to the 1 ghz but they do catch up and show correctly usually. For my light purposes it will most likely work.
Summary: I purchased this computer to use at work as a mobile computer as opposed to buying a tablet. I wanted the hard drive space and other features. It does work as advertised and the processor is fast. I like the touch screen feature as it is more useful on a smaller computer. It did not have the hmdi port listed, but I can get by without it. Battery life is short but is as listed, about 3 hours.
