Summary: Bought a Laptop that was selling as NEW and when I received after Two Weeks Screen would not STOP jumping and this Store would not Take it Back and it Was Just at 30 Days which that's suppose to be There Policy and if you wipe out Shipping Says it Was under 30 Days!!! I hired a Laptop Tech and was Told this Was a Refurbished Laptop and it Was Junk . This Store when I E-Mailed them to try and Work something Out Just Closed the Case on me !!!
Cons: Don't buy this garbage. Wiped to put windows 7 and installed all drivers from Acer's website and the thing does nothing but Blue screen. Acer will not help you at all. All I can say is you get what you pay for.
Pros: Worked flawlessly (while it did). Great battery life, great power, never had any slowdown.
Cons: Approximately 10 keyboard keys suddenly broke after about 4 months. Laptop keys would initially become responsive again when the laptop was held at a certain angle. Then the laptop constantly had to be held at that angle. Now they're completely unresponsive.
Summary: I got this without really paying attention to the specs, as soon as I noticed my mistake, I try to call newegg to try to get a refund or exchange. They tell me first that there is NO REFUND WHEN IT SAYS THERE IS ONE THE PAGE. Next, they tell me I can't get the refund because I opened the box...the brown ups one.
Pros: It's cheap
Cons: it sucks. The specs seem good until you look at them in depth, then you realize it's a very average gaming laptop...you can get much better for only 200 more.
Summary: I'll update this review when I get the laptop back in 7-10 days.
Pros: Fast shipping
Cons: I had just activated microsoft office and had installed steam. I was installing another game and I decided to take a quick shower while the game installed. I returned to find the laptop screen looking like a techno lights show. Nothing I did could help.
Summary: After less than 2 months of use the screen started malfunctioning. The malfuction was a purple discoloration in the center of the screen as well as a little green dot that would randomly appear in the top right corner. After speaking with Tech Support I sent it back for repair on 3/13/13. I had to spend $40 more to ship it back insured for repair and Acer DOES NOT refund your shipping fees.
Pros: Cant stand using it long enough to find any.
Cons: Ive had this for one day and im shipping it back. Do not get this computer if you hate tap to click cause there is no way to disable it. This is my fourth laptop amd its the only one I cant disable that function. This was my first time ordering from newegg nd based off this experience and quality of product I wont be buying from here again.
