  • Excerpt: I finally got tired of my 10-inch netbook and decided to look for a laptop that had more power and a much bigger screen. Checking out the computer shops near our place one model immediately caught my eye. It was red.

Really pleasing

Kaiser Sousa "Foodie Travels", Amazon
12 September 2011
  • Summary: Had a choice between this and an ipad. This was roughly half the price, offering full PC facilities in a realy coll small package. Fast, best of all the PCs we work with - at work and at home. Win 7, 64 bit is stable, and a joy to use.

  • Summary: A BEAST! of a workhorse for such a small package! It out performs most desktop machines at my workplace without fail. The high-end HD 3D graphics chipset gives excellent 720p resolution when watching films full screen on you 42"+ LCD TV. Had it runnin 3D Studio Max 2010, 10 Chrome Browser tabs, Office 2010 at the same time as rendering video in Adobe Premiere CS5 to an external 42" LCD while running 720p video playback in Quicktime...
  • Pros: A BEAST! of a workhorse for such a small package!
  • Cons: N/A I LOVE it! Could have had a HDMI out but hopefully we'll see that in the Quad-core version ;D

I was looking for the best prices and to my pleasant surprise it was best value for money at argos! £399.99 seemed to be the average price, but the argos model came with 3GB ram instead of the usual 2, so i was instantly sold! The acer ferrari one is the result of a coming together of Ferrari, and their computer specialist sponsors, AMD and Acer. The Ferrari one is the first 'netbook' to incorporate a dual core ...

  • Summary: I bought this laptop on the back of Rory's review and i have to say i was not disappointed this is a true performer. Games (COD, Far Cry, etc), HD movies running virtual machines, photoshop, video editing this machine does it all with ease. The keyboard is comfortable to use the screen is just the right size, easy to work on and small enough to be mobile. in fact its so good i've just ditched my macbook pro because this can do everything i want for a mere £399.
  • Pros: its fast ,fast, fast!
  • Cons: its a bit showy, fan noise (quiet but still audible)
