Summary: I have been using this for about a year now. After 4 months I bought about 4 more (work). I have used this everyday since I bought these. They work beautifully. I can do everything I need to. Anyone who tells you that you can't edit videos, or play 3D games ...well, they are misinformed.
Pros: Fits into my backpack, my shoulder bag/purse. 11.6" size is great, screen is decent for everything. Almost as fast as an i3 in processing ability.
Cons: Motherboard on some of the earlier models had issue and could not start when lid was opened or power button pushed. Most of the issue was a faulty connector on the motherboard for the power jack. ** This above con was for previous models, does not apply to this model**

Pros: Processor is pretty snappy for only being a 1.4GHz Lightweight, extremely portable Affordable for the college student looking for a dedicated documents machine Great Battery life
Cons: Only 2 USB Ports Speakers are pretty weak 16GB is a little small for my tastes Limited app selection
Summary: Refurb unit, I bought 1-year extended warranty & needed warranty service after 1 month (LED screen died). The 3rd party warrantor (Service.net) told me NO, must get mfg service since it's less than 3 months old.
Pros: Nice cheap refurb chromebook, works very well, 7 second startup, good for surfing the web & watching YouTube videos
Summary: I really like this laptop light running great I ran in to a few filed I couldn't download and I could not fan app in the Google store that would convert the files, but that's my only problem I've found.
Summary: Battery: about 6 hours on full charge on web browsing. 4 hours if watching movies. haven't had full 8 hours as advertized, but that's within expectation. absolutely no problem with charging cable. locks in tight and clips in secure. Pros: *good price for functionality.
Excerpt: Works great with no hassles. The Chrome OS is drop-dead easy to set up and use for most of the things that I do with a laptop. It is refreshing to not have to worry about malware and constant OS updates. The Acer has a great keyboard, screen, and performance.
