Summary: Nice little laptop. The specs, size and general feel of this little Chromebook are great for around $300. Unfortunately, mine likes to reboot a lot. I believe it's related to a heating issue. I get a reboot about every 8-12 hours.
Summary: After going back and forth with myself over which Chromebook I wanted to buy, I finally decided on this one and it arrived today. It also went right back in the box to be returned. I played with it for a little while before realizing I didn't see a battery status indicator in the bottom right corner...
Summary: It does nothing well. I bought a refurbished model, so it might be a bad refurb. When on battery power the machine always reboots. The point behind this machine is for browsing the internet, under the google ecosystem, so you know it's going to be limited.
This chromebook has the potential to be great but Acer is notorious for building low quality devices

Summary: Let me go straight to the cons: I bought 2 of these and both had the following issues: 1. grainy, low quality display. (this is well known) 2. High pitched sound when headphones are plugged in. (tested with many headphones) 3. wonky trackpads. Can be very inaccurate. 4.
Summary: Everything should have a backlit keyboard, this doesn't.
Pros: Long battery life, stays cool
Cons: When connected to some power outlets the trackpad stops functioning properly --due maybe to electro-magnetic interference--reducing the chromebook to a paperweight. The only solutions I've found is to only use it when charged (if I know I'm going somewhere that causes this issue), or to use a usb...
Summary: Refurbished Chromebook was not "released" from previous company/school/organization. We bought it as a Christmas gift for our daughter. Jan 5 and still unable to use it. When the Chromebook turns on you are asked to log into your company network via email and password.
Summary: I bought this laptop as a Christmas present for my daughter. The laptop was nice, but after using it for about 10 minutes, it kept freezing and then re-starting itself. I returned it yesterday.
Summary: Extremely limited system, with appealing but arbitrarily shackled specs. If you're fond of walled gardens, go for it. It's probably most fit for obedient children, Americans … or North Koreans.
