If I could give it 0 stars I would

IcyPasta, CNET
14 September 2014
  • Summary: you can not download a single thing that is not in the app store. I can't download Adobe flash, java, or any games I even thought in the slightest about playing. If your'e NOT a gamer and basically need this to type papers and surf the web then i recommend it, but other wise STAY AWAY FROM THIS. It's to the point my sister and I have nicknamed it the "crapbook".
  • Pros: It runs fast and the graphics are decent
  • Cons: you can not download anything that's not in the appstore.

A tablet with a Keyboard, unless there is no internet, then it is just a 3 pound paper weight

3 June 2014
  • Summary: First off, I got this computer for Christmas which is the only reason I'm not turning it in for a new one.
  • Pros: Fast, share easily
  • Cons: Can only work with internet around, and has all these "extras" that you can easily do with the internet.

Its ok

breana.payne, CNET
1 May 2014
  • Summary: This is a good product if you are looking for something with basic functions such as internet use and creating word documents. Unfortunately, that's about all it's good for. It only operates with the Google Chrome browser, which is not compatible for many sites and  many of the functions do not work if there is no internet access. Overall I wouldn't recommend this product.
  • Pros: It gets the job done.
  • Cons: Flawed in many areas

Perfect for my needs.

kfolsom, CNET
12 October 2013
  • Summary: Got this for Christmas 2012. Love it. Fits my needs perfectly: web browsing and YouTube viewing. I have all my music and video files on it, so I'm never apart from entertainment.
  • Pros: Small, portable, solid but not too heavy, fast response compared to Win XP, self maintaining, self updating, fits my hands well enough.
  • Cons: Less than stellar battery life, about 3 3/4 hours. Non-lighted keys slightly "floaty."

It's pretty cool!

Brick59, CNET
5 September 2013
  • Summary: "Google's Chrome OS is a clean, fast, fluid type of browser-based operating system"
  • Pros: *seamless browsing, *netflix and youtube viewing is spot on!, *Chrome OS works exactly as advertised, *comfortable keyboard...and having a keyboard is exactly why I prefer this over a tablet.
  • Cons: *short battery life, *machine looks a bit bargain basement but that's because it is!

Cool device

Cassy43, CNET
25 August 2013
  • Summary: Please share any insight on what kind of printer I can purchase to use with this device. Seems like everything online suggests Epson Email Print or Google Cloud Print, but I still need a printer to print to and from etc. Please advise.
  • Pros: Perfect size, excellent battery life and lightweight.
  • Cons: Can't find a printer that is compatible with this cpu, no disc drive.
