Summary: The laptop arrived in a timely fashion. All seemed well as I began to set it up until I realized that the 'k' key did not function correctly. It would only type if I pressed in the very center of the key with more force than I would use when typing quickly. The key even sounded different from the others when pushed. I googled for this model and keyboard issues and found very quickly that this is not an uncommon problem, so I decided not to get a replacement.
Summary: I had the computer for about a month and it already giving me problems first thing it started to slow down and it was slow to turn on and the screen would go black and right now it won't turn on so I have no computer. This is the first and last time I buy a used computer from anywhere.
Average! Not great, not bad either!(Keyboard sucks!)

Summary: Pros: - Fast - Nice bright display - USB3.0 Cons: - HORRIBLE and I mean Shi**y keyboard - Poor battery life - Weird, hard to get used to touchpad (poor apple imitation) - Not that light This is not my main laptop so I can bear with the cons otherwise I would have returned it already.
Summary: good: though it's not an ultra book, it's light, much much better than heavy IBM, THINK-PAD AND DELL. NVIDIA GeForce GT720M is okay for using design software like Rhino, Revit, Photoshop... and playing video games. Screen is good CPU is good. bad:windows 8 system is stupid. after downgrading it into windows 7, it will bring some new problems, like the network frequently breaking down, voice card occasionally not working.
Excerpt: My previous 3 yr old Acer finally bit the dust. Decided to get the new Acer but it was much slower than the old model and returned it. Research indicates that other users report the same problem.
Excerpt: It seems like a well built laptop. Weight and size good, colors excellent, but for Windows 8 it needs a faster processor. Otherwise a good value an if you don't care about speed, then by all means this is a good buy. Acer products even without the so well known name are sturdy, good looking. Again the company should consider adding a little to the price and include a more powerful processor.
Pros: Bright, Professional Weight, Sharp Tones & Colors
Summary: Love the speed, power, screen, the sound, the keyboard. Don't like the placement of the touchpad. It is set too far to the left and I am right handed so I often activate the Windows 8 side menu. Don't like the connection juncture between the ac adapter and notebook. It's kinda thin and feels flimsy so you have slow down and careful thread it in. I had to return the laptop because the touchpad was driving me crazy.
Excerpt: this computer is very slow, slower than my kindle and is not able to handle most web sites. it freezes frequently . performance is less than satisfactory at best. don't feel it was worth the money, total waste.
