Summary: "Junk" Don't buy this! Too many bad issues to mention all of them. The touch screen went out in the first week. (No help from support. Sounded like they were guessing try this, try that) gave up. Sound went the next week. (sounds muffled now) Key pad too sensitive with no adjustments.
Summary: Keep in mind some laptops now do come with a CDROM like this one. Also it did not come with a Install disk. You have to make a bootable disc or thumb drive from the factory drive. If you get a thumb drive get the biggest one you can afford. 128GB's can be had for $30 or so dollars.
Pros: Good performance for a 1366 x 768 laptop. I wanted something quick and for traveling, watching streaming movies, doing searches, and playing games well (in low to med settings with AA turned on) like BF4 or Dota2 when I get bored. This worked well. I had an old 128GB SSD drive and put that thing ...
I have been completely happy with it. It is faster than my desktop and I love the touch screen.

Summary: I had to give a presentation at a conference last month and need a laptop to take with for my power-point. I didn't need top of the line so was looking for a good middle of the road laptop at a reasonable price.
Pros: Fast shipping, easy to upgrade via a removeable door on the bottom of the laptop. Touchscreen is responsive and easy to clean, and the Haswell processors are quick. I installed Linux Mint 17 on this laptop with an SSD hard drive. Boots in seconds, and the touchscreen works.
Cons: It was a little difficult to remove the hard drive, but a little patience did the trick. The lack of service manuals is a minus, but folks with above-average tech skills will not find this difficult. Seeing as how Microsoft is now giving away Windows 8 and above, the price I paid for a refurb was...
Summary: After a couple of weeks of endless searching and researching all types of laptops I stumbled across this one on Amazon while researching a different laptop by Acer. I couldn't believe all the great reviews and was certain there was a mistake. Surely a laptop under $500 couldn't be so great.
