Summary: After a couple of weeks of endless searching and researching all types of laptops I stumbled across this one on Amazon while researching a different laptop by Acer. I couldn't believe all the great reviews and was certain there was a mistake. Surely a laptop under $500 couldn't be so great. To make sure I pulled some reviews off the web for comparison. Though I've only had the computer a week it has been in almost non stop use each day.
Summary: This is a great laptop, even more so since the price is so reasonable. The i5 is plenty powerful for most applications. The 4GB of ram seems a little low, but an extra stick can be added in for a max of 16GB. The hard drive is also a Western Digital Caviar Blue, one of the best in the market. RAM is made by Kingston, and is 1600 MHz. The screen is great to, at just over 720p and touchscreen too.

HOWEVER, i bought this laptop and after a couple days the mouse pad glitched out and stopped working for about 3 minutes, i did not think to much of it because i do use a wireless mouse as well.
Summary: I didn't actually buy this from Amazon, but I'm very pleased with this laptop! I actually had an Acer V5 before that was stolen, so I opted to buy another Acer V5 because I had been very happy with the product. Aesthetically, the laptop is very sleek with a smooth finish and the keyboard is very pleasant to use. I wish it was even faster, but considering I keep open 20 tabs on average the computer has pretty good speed.
Summary: Great little computer, works fine. It did not come with any manuals or documentation of any kind or a disk if I need to reinstall the OS. Was also disappointed that the power adapter and battery were just flopping around inside. They were not damaged and operate as expected. Oh there was a scratch along the top of the case that went across it (short side/top to bottom) it appears that the cardboard and plastic used to secure it in place may have done the damage as a...
