It' all good except the battery life

patsy gaffney, Amazon

  • Summary: I like everything about this computer except the poor battery life. You can basically see the battery life going on the icon. Lucky if you can sit and work for more than an hour before shut down.

This laptop is really not bad for its price

Helen Wu, Amazon

  • Summary: This laptop is really not bad for its price. The size is good, battery life is good, screen resolution is nice, etc. The only thing that bothers me is the mouse touch pad. There is a huge delay when using 2 fingers to scroll up/down - compared to MacBooks, it could definitely use a huge improvement.

shame that both laptops had a bad pixel.

J. M. Montes Diaz, Amazon
19 December 2014
  • Summary: Downside is that it came with a dead pixel almost in the dead center of the screen, so I returned the laptop and got another one, and it also has a dead pixel but near the upper left corner. So I keep the second laptop, shame that both laptops had a bad pixel.

I like it, but the touchpad is difficult to use

Harold Baize, Amazon
25 October 2014
  • Summary: I bought the laptop because my old laptop could not drive my 1080p 3D projector. The laptop has a lot of power for the price and in general, I like it. Except for one problem. The touch pad. I find it impossible to use. It is the type that does not have left/right buttons.

Greg R., Amazon

  • Summary: For the price, and what I wanted it for (light gaming) its been great. All issues ive had, have been because of Windows 8. None of the hardware has had issues. I like the cheaper price, with room to upgrade later (ssd bay, and 4 total ram slots (2 free) ) Screen has never bothered me, and I think it...

Enjoyable Laptop

Dylan G., Newegg
2 August 2014
  • Summary: While there are some slightly annoying flaws in the design of this laptop, I can say that I thoroughly enjoy it. It's super fast for what I want to do. Gaming in my spare time and Web Development for my job. Programs launch quickly off the SSD games run smoothly on decent settings.
  • Pros: Wide and relatively thin. Super fast boot speeds with the SSD. 1 TB of extra storage for games/programs. Full keyboard SD card reader Blu-Ray drive HDMI port Runs cool when not using the videocard. Nice ventilation 12GB of RAM Expansion slot for even more storage! Dolby Home Theater speakers. Cor...
  • Cons: Blue tinted screen can really catch you off guard like it did to me. Battery life suffers from everything thats packed in to this laptop. No capslock, numlock, etc light to tell you if its on or not. Touch pad is large and can be accidentally tapped, messing up whatever you're typing. Sometimes sh...
