Summary: Best bang for buck. The 840M inside this laptop is capable of playing every game I have thrown at it, just don't expect it to play them at maximum graphics. This laptop has a decent dedicated graphic's card and is still capable of 7+ hours on the battery.
Summary: A very good, moderately priced laptop. Intel i5 5th Generation processor (latest). Very fast response time. The backlit keyboard is nice when working in dimly lighted areas, on battery or AC. Excellent graphics; the addition of the G-Force auxiliary graphics chip is a plus, but only if you are a gamer running 3D apps. Otherwise, all other programs pretty much default to the Intel Graphics chipset, which is fine for nearly everything else.
I actually like the back-lit keyboard a great deal

Summary: I bought this laptop to replace my 2008 Macbook. It had an old dual core CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a 120GB HDD. The OS was no longer being updated by Apple and I ran into problems with some web browsers not working. Spotify would not work either. I'm a full-time newspaper reporter and use this PC for work daily. It's actually more than I need for my job, as I have a separate gaming PC at home. I use this PC to write on, read PDFs, and use web-based software.
Excellent Value & Quality With Hight Level Features

Summary: Excellent value laptop computer. Sturdy construction with a sleek feeling aluminum patterned top cover and keyboard base. It took me some time to learn and adjust to Windows 8.1. Windows App Store seems to charge more for my preferred apps. Instead I went online and directly downloaded my apps for free. The keyboard is very responsive and smooth feeling. The battery life for me was more like 4 - 5 hours. I like to set the screen brightness at maximum.
Stuck Pixel.....dissapointed. So I took this laptop apart and realized this laptop has POTENTIAL. It uses an EDP type screen.

Summary: This laptop has really decent specs for its price point. The backlit keyboard is a huge surprise. The stuck pixel was another huge surprise. This laptop would have been perfect with an IPS display. I took this laptop apart and saw that it uses a EDP type screen. You can exchange the screen to an IPS if you would like for around $85+ more. I did the dirty work so the future buyers or current owners can make a decision to upgrade the screen.
Its actually slower than my previous 3 year old laptop with worse specs when multitasking

Summary: I don't have much else to add that others haven't already mentioned, but mine has had issues with saving settings. I have turned off needing a password to sign in 5 times in 7 days. The display power saving technology option that messes with the brightness will not save through a reboot. This means you have to manually turn it off each and every time. Its actually slower than my previous 3 year old laptop with worse specs when multitasking.
Excerpt: THE GOOD: - Light Weight. - All the modern features are included. - Good battery life. - Plays video games as well. - Built in Microphone and Web Cam are both good. - Tiny little A/C adapter, very energy efficient. THE BAD: - Speakers are built into the BOTTOM! - SPYWARE was found on it! - Needs some screen adjustments. OK, so this is a really NICE and GOOD little laptop for the price.
