Summary: I am amazed by the value for money this laptop provides. I bought it as a desktop replacement, to do DTP and graphic design work, primarily because it has a full HD screen, an Intel Core i5 fifth generation processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive.
Summary: A very nice computer, very good display, solid construction. Would have rated 5 shiners except for two things...the SD card slot has the card sticking out of the touch pad side of the device (A personal preference, I would like to have the slot more to the underneath.
Summary: Nice features for the money, but the stock hard drive really holds it back. Once replaced with a solid state drive, it turns into an amazing machine. Initial tests on the SSD with a clean install of Windows yielded just shy of 8 hours on the battery.
Summary: Very good for what I use it for. Surfing the web and other basic tasks it's well suited for. Considering it is my first laptop, I'm glad I didn't spend big money for a bunch of stuff I didn't need.
Summary: I like everything about this computer except the poor battery life. You can basically see the battery life going on the icon. Lucky if you can sit and work for more than an hour before shut down.
Summary: This laptop is really not bad for its price. The size is good, battery life is good, screen resolution is nice, etc. The only thing that bothers me is the mouse touch pad. There is a huge delay when using 2 fingers to scroll up/down - compared to MacBooks, it could definitely use a huge improvement.
