Review Acer Aspire 3820TG Subnotebook (HD6550)

Notebookcheck
22 February 2011
  • Summary: Radeon Refresh. Acer's 13" subnotebook is popular among gamers, but does it really pack enough processing and graphics-rendering power in such a small case? With the help of the new HD 6550M within the 1.8 Kg case, it just might...
  • Pros: Powerful Graphics Rendering for a 13" Subnotebook, Good Craftsmanship, Nice Design, Good Battery Life, Low System Noise, Low Case Temps, Speedy Hard Drive, Good Application Performance, Good Keyboard, Light Weight, Low case temperature and little noise during stress test. A sturdy keyboard that doesn't bob up and down with every keystroke—and in an Acer at that!
  • Cons: Few Ports, Badly Placed, Weak Contrast, Few Viewing Angles, No DVD Drive, Bulky, Heavy Power Supply, A matte screen for use under the sun.  An e-SATA port.

Acer Aspire TimelineX 3820TG review – power and style

netbooklive.com
1 November 2010
  • Conclusion: All in all, I have to say this 13.3 inch TimelineX is an interesting portable laptop. Never thought I would get to say that, but I actually like it. It is solid built, sturdy and powerful. Plus, it is very light and compact, and that battery life offered is top notch, considering the hardware inside. Of course, this TimeLineX does have to face some tough competition in its class, especially with Asus’s devices, but also the ones from Toshiba and even the MacBooks.
  • Pros: Slim, compact and light, Excellent build quality and good materials used for the casing, including aluminum, Good hardware and performances, Nice speakers, Comfortable keyboard, Good connectivity: Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 2.1, 3xUSB ports but not 3G, Excellent battery life
  • Cons: Slim, compact and light, Excellent build quality and good materials used for the casing, including aluminum, Good hardware and performances, Nice speakers, Comfortable keyboard, Good connectivity: Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 2.1, 3xUSB ports but not 3G, Excellent battery life

But, is the exhaust fan going to be the downfall of this model oder will this little guy get the distinction of the perfect and inexpensive mini gamer of the year?
  • Pros: Powerful 13-inch Gaming Notebook, Solid, Sturdy Build, Good Battery Life, Low Noise Output, Heat Output Not Too High, Fast Hard Drive, High Application Performance, Good Input Devices, Light Weight
  • Cons: Few Ports that are Badly Placed, Weak Contrast and Viewing Angles, No DVD-Drive, Large, Heavy Power Adapter

Review Acer Aspire 3820TG Timeline X Notebook

Notebookcheck
1 October 2010
  • Conclusion: The Acer Aspire Timeline X 3820TG has gained a lot of performance in comparison to its predecessor. The combination of a Core i3-330M, Intel HD and ATI HD 5470 (switchable graphics) unites a high computing performance with a moderate power consumption. Noise and heat emissions also benefit from this, as they are very restrained under low demand. The low weight and good battery life is pleasing for daily mobile business .
  • Pros: Good case stability, Good performance data, Good battery life, Low emissions, Big hard disk, The overall concept with "switchable graphics", which covers a wide range of applications.
  • Cons: Yielding keyboard, Reflective, contrast poor display, Meager connectivity, A reasonable display and at least one fast interface.

Test Acer Aspire 3820TG Subnotebook (HD6550)

14 February 2011
  • Conclusion: Maximal Spielen im Taschenformat.
  • Pros: Starke 13-Zoll 3D-Leistung, Gute, wertige Verarbeitung, Gute Laufzeiten, Geringe Lautstärke, Geringe Abwärme, Schnelle Festplatte, Hohe Anwendungsleistung, Gute Tastatur, Geringes Gewicht

Recenzja Acer Aspire TimelineX 3820TG (Radeon HD 6550M)

notebookcheck.pl
8 November 2010
  • Summary: Acer 3820TG okazał się małą rakietą.
