Summary: I've had this laptop for just over a year now and haven't had any issues (I did have the webcam replaced after about a week, acer did it all under warranty I just had to send it to them). The battery life is pretty good to what they say it is, even after a year of pretty good usage I'm still getting 6-7 hours of battery life while I'm using it. The graphics cards will run the Sims 3 even though it says it is not compatible I haven't had any issues.
Summary: I really love it.I An aggressively priced thin-and-light with excellent battery life and strong all-around performance, The price is very good .It's an all-star laptop perfect for any buyer seeking maximum value.
Summary: This is my first laptop and my first computer upgrade in years. I love the speed and it's size. I have it hooked up to my LCD TV in the livingroom so the laptop is easier to hide than my old tower was.
Summary: This laptop is the epitome of an amazing laptop. It NEVER crashes, lags, or breaks down - and I've had it for a while now! It's amazing and I'd recommend it over any other laptop - the Sonys, the Toshibas, HPs, Asus, and even the Macs. It's reliable and best part is, for $450 you're getting quite a steal of a deal!!!
Summary: I bought this for my teenage son for college. It has a very good battery life, it will play games but I would not consider the spec would class it as a gaming machine. However he manages to play 'Call of Duty' on it with no problems at all. Good all round laptop.
Summary: I needed a laptop that had a long life battery, decent storage and a good keyboard. The laptop needed to be light, smaller than the usual monsters but bigger than a netbook as the 11" is just too small!! An ultrabook is lovely but how could I justify a huge price?? Enter the Timeline......... It is smaller than the norm, it is light and very thin.
Summary: After reading all the reviews and reading about this on the Which website I decided to buy this laptop.... And it was a great decision it's very fast and has a good look to it... I'm not computer minded so cannot give you a specific reason to buy it just that I think it's a great.
Summary: I pretty much endorse the very positive comments of the other two reviews: this light and lovely thing has amazing battery life, and in spite of the inevitable trade-off between power and battery life, manages an impressive 5.1 on the Windows Experience Index (slowed by the on-chip Intel graphics). I would take maybe half a star away for two manufacturing judgements I would disagree with.
