Acer Aspire TimelineX 4830TG-6808 Review

LAPTOP Magazine
15 March 2012
  • Summary: While Ultrabooks are getting all the attention, it's worth noting there are other laptops out there that cost a good deal less but provide stronger performance. For $729, the Acer Aspire TimelineX 4830TG-6808 offers excellent graphics, great audio and more than seven and a half hours of battery life in an attractive and lightweight package. The comparably equipped ASUS U46SV can be found for as low as $699 online, but it doesn't last nearly as long on a charge.

Review Acer Aspire 4830TG Notebook

Notebookcheck
16 May 2011
  • Summary: Blue-eyed? Acer launches a new, handy 14 inch notebook from the TimelineX range called Aspire 4830TG. The notebook, dressed in ice blue is suitable for routine work in the office, at home and on the move. It bids a lot of power thanks to the GT 540M graphics and Intel i5 CPU when it's needed. However, not always, as the following review will show.
  • Pros: Solid case, Handy size, Large performance reserves, Long battery life, The Acer Aspire 4830TG has a very handy size and is light. The 14 inch display looks bigger than expected.
  • Cons: Reflective 14 inch display, High temperature development during load, Built-in battery, CPU throttling, A matt display would have made the 4830TG's mobility perfect.

Acer Aspire TimelineX 4830T review

expertreviews.co.uk
9 October 2011
  • Excerpt: With anticipation building over Intel’s new Ultrabook category, which lays down a specification for thin and lightweight laptops, now might seem like an odd time to launch a traditional ultraportable laptop. However, in many ways Acer’s TimelineX 4830T makes a lot of sense. A 14in screen and internal DVD optical drive could make this the ideal traveling companion for someone that can’t do without physical discs.

Expert Review

Tecnozoom
5 November 2011
  • Cons: Qualità webcam; No USB 3.0; Batteria non sostituibile

Как и вес всего 2.1 Кг, и относительно компактные габариты. Мощная начинка - ещё один плюс.
