Best Laptop - I've owned

Summary: This is a fantastic machine. Fast, small, lots of memory, light weight, great resolution and all around handles all my needs. I use it for MS office, Photoshop, AutoCad, even Revit. The best part, is it fits in my shoulder bag and weight almost nothing... Oh and it costs less than 1/2 of an apple equivalent.
Summary: I chose this laptop for its ultra-portable-like specifics and its almost-netbook-like price, as I need a travel companion for working in mobility on Office applications and web developement. After one year of usage I can say that this Acer is amazing! it has enough cpu power to flawlessly run a virtual machine to have a linux server onboard for development of web applications.
Summary: I have had this same laptop for over a year and just bought another one for my dad. The fact that I purchased another one should say it all. I just wish this one had a built-in aircard, but other than that, I'm pretty happy with it.
Summary: I've only had this laptop for about a month. I ride an electric bicycle, so the weight is definitely a plus. I'm also a computer networking student who uses e-textbooks. I have about three hours of classes to sit through.I use the high performance battery settings. I also only have the brightness set at about 25% (purely for comfort) . If brightness is something you need, this machined can handle the job. All that said, I'd say that the battery mileage is pretty good.
Summary: Before i purchase this laptop i looked at other options. it came down to a samsung or this Acer. However i am still looking for a high performance compact laptop.I anticipated that 4GB with an Intel I7 processor would be enough for basic graphics editing. Now i am really contemplating going the mac way. but overall this Acer gets the job done.
Summary: Perfect laptop size for me. The case is grainy so finger prints are not noticeable. Screen bright & and viewable from most angles. Fits nice on console of my truck. Used GPS program (Microsoft Streets)with it and this gives you a very large GPS screen. Nice that it has VGA & HDMI ports. Has 3 usb's. Most laptops only give you 2. The only disapointment is the processor. I bought this because of its core i7. I didn't look close enough at the specs.
Summary: I'll keep it simple. Here are my pro's/con's: Pro's: -Extremely light and portable. I have no problem carrying this baby around in one hand and it doesn't feel cheap either, rather it feels very durable. -Screen is amazing (indoors) -HDMI port: Makes for easy streaming of netflix, youtube, etc on your big screen TV. This is one of the best features! The picture quality blows away using an VGA cable. -Fast/reliable: Turns on quickly and shuts down quickly.
Overall a great little laptop, but does have a few flaws

Summary: The good: - Performance!! i7-680UM based system in an 11.6" body. A wonderfully fast machine. - 500 Gb HD as compared to 320 Gb in most 11-13" laptops - 4 Gb RAM - HDMI port - Three well placed USB ports - Very compact and cleverly designed power adapter - Bluetooth connectivity - Lightweight but relatively sturdy (does not bend if lifted by one corner) - Stays COLD. This is a major advantage.
Summary: Other reviewers have given very good detailed information on this and the other 11.6 inch Timeline X series with different processors and configurations. Therefore, instead of repeating what has already been written, I will simply comment on my experiences and what others have said. I've found that most of the complaints others have had about such things as the keyboard and small touchpad are minor. Every computer feels different and simply takes getting accustom to.
Summary: I have only had this for a few weeks, so I cannot give it 5 stars yet, but so far it seems great. Speedy, light, wireless connex is solid to my router. The only thing I may not like long term I think, is that the front edge where you rest your wrists is kind of sharp. I don't think it is much of an issue for most of what I do, but I could see if I typed long term-papers or spent a long time writing word documents ( I don't usually have to spend a whole lot of time...
