Summary: I bought this £900 laptop for my partner's Christmas lasy year, and it developed a fault less than 13-months later or less than a month after the warrenty expired. When I got in touch with Acer they simply said "it's out of warrenty" and gave me a number to call to pay for a repair! Needless to say with this type of customer service ethos I will never purchase another product from ACER again!!!!
Summary: The HDMI port on the unit I received was faulty so did not work with a VGA converter or DVI cable. After multiple replacement VGA converters and cables, and fruitless call to Acer support (who seem to know nothing about their products) I finally returned it. Amazon sent a replacement (great service from Amazon) and the replacement's HDMI port worked fine. However, Windows 8 crashes many times a day and I've no idea if it is a hardware or software problem.
Summary: I had this product for 8 days when a fault became apparent - the C drive would not respond to a request to create a new folder which was necessary to download some business software. My software supplier advised me the machine was faulty. I telephoned Acer Tech Services (Indian call centre) to be told quite quickly he could not solve the problem and I would have to ring their.Premium telephone line - which was an 0800 number.
Summary: Would have been a good laptop if it hadn't had the 3 following major defaults in my opinion. I wouldn't not recommend buying it : - The power on/off button is located at the front. It happens to me many times to logoff the computer in the middle of my work by accident. The ACER Engineer who had the idea of putting the button here should find another job, clearly. - The touchpad is Terrible !
Pros: Battery duration, screen, quick switch on
Cons: Terrible power button, terrible touchpad, no VGA port

Summary: Leider konnte ich keine Erfahrungen mit dem Artikel sammeln. Der Verkäufer hat mir ein Angebot an unterlegene Bieter unterbreitet. Dieses Angebot habe ich angenommen und am gleichen Tag online überwiesen. Nach der Überweisung versuchte ich Kontakt per Email aufzunehmen, das gelang mir leider nicht, da der Verkäufer hartnäckig schwieg.
