Acer Timeline Aspire 4810T
9 July 2009
Summary: Thin piece of hardware but functions superbly..good price..has the optical drive which is needed in a laptop--even the adaptor is small For daily use and more is great..comes with Vista and has a free upgrade to Windows 7 which is coming out soon..
Summary: This must be the worst laptop I´ve ever bought... and I´ve bought 9. Since the beginning there have been CONTINUAL problems with the DVD disappearing and the HDMI not working. Checking the internet I find that there are MANY MANY users with the same problems.
Pros: Not very much at all
Cons: DVD keeps disappearing, HDMI doesn´t work, Good driver updates not available, NO SUPPORT FROM ACER
A great value for money stylish laptop with good battery life and performance.

Excerpt: This laptop certainly gives a lot of bang for your buck, but where do I start? It has a sturdy build and a nice metallic style, with everything laid out in a simple and easy to understand way. It is fairly lightweight and not too cumbersome to carry around.

Summary: This new laptop has put my older computer into the background which will of course soon make it redundant although that was not my original plan. Faster more user friendly long battery life etc etc. My new "Acer" was a gift from my family (two of whom already have one!
Summary: The unit had a Windows problem from new! Very disappointed when it was brand new and not working. Did the company test it thoroughly before sending it? Claimed money back and bought new make from elsewhere!
Summary: Excellent laptop for the price, and no problems whatsoever. I was a bit wary about buying it as I'd read reviews which said it kept freezing (I think due to a combination of power settings and Vista), but no problems with Windows 7.
