Well worth it!

Overstock
28 April 2010
  • Summary: I returned a different netbook to get this one. It is much faster! Worth the extra money to get this notebook (but the size of a netbook). Also, the description says it comes with Vista but it actually comes with Windows 7. Yay!

  • Summary: I bought this for my 10 year old grandson to learn on and I think it was the best purchase I've ever made as the amount of pleasure he has had from it so far... the item has already paid for itself.

I love this notebook

  • Summary: I had a little 9" notebook before this but the keyboard was just a bit too small even with my little fingers. I researched notebooks before deciding on replacing it with this one and I wasnt disapointed, I love it. The keyboard is full sized, it misses off the number pad because of its 11.6" size, but I dont miss that at all, maybe you might if youre an accountant, but im not.

Really excellent

Johnyc "Johnyc", Amazon

  • Summary: I've had an IBM x41 tablet for the last 5 years and I was really reluctant to get rid of it because I think IBM/Lenovo make the best laptops, but to replace it would have been more than £1500. I kept looking at netbooks but always came away with the same problem, too slow & too small. So when I saw the Acer 1810TZ I was intrigued. Before buying I loaded Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Video, then swapped between using Windows Aero. All worked without a glitch.

Aspire 1810TZ

Annm "Annm", Amazon
4 January 2010
  • Summary: So far so great! I really like Windows 7. I haven't quite got the hang of the touchpad so I occasionally do something I don't intend to do but that's my fault. The battery life is great, the screen large enough, and I haven't any problems having a number of Word documents open and surfing the net for information at the same time. I can sit with my family and work (or play) at the same time because I can sit on the sofa with it on my knee.

Acer Aspire 1810TZ

Lynn Roberts "Lynn", Amazon
24 November 2009
  • Summary: This Is a smashing little machine. I was a bit apprehensive about windows 7, but so far so good. The only downside Is that It doesn't have It's own dvd writer In It. But then again I don't think any travel laptops do these days. Also when buying off Amazon I thought that the price I saw was the price to pay. However they did put the VAT on top of this, which was a bit of a shock to my system, so bare that In mind when buying. I could have saved £50 by going to PC World.
