Summary: After a year with this laptop, I suggest avoiding it. It was great at first - a great spec and value for money. It even came with tons of accessories, like a case and an extended battery. A year later, it's completely breaking down and needs to be replaced. - The battery has decayed a lot. Now, it only charges to 52% and lasts for about an hour. - The SD hard drives are failing. Every two days the system crashes and I have to scan and repair it.
Don't waste your money or time! Go with a more reputable company!!!!!!!

Summary: The laptop looks state of the art and has some nice features such as the thinness, an SSD, and a touchscreen. HOWEVER, the thing that makes this laptop terrible is the cooling. It claims to have this awesome system for cooling the laptop but it is a load of crap. It cannot remove the hot air fast enough and as the hot air is stuck in the laptop; it damages the battery.
Summary: I loved it until the hard drive died at 11 weeks. Ugh! Searching Acer s7 "no bootable device" and you will find this is a common problem. Update: Contacted Acer they are fixing under warranty and were very quick to help. Fingers crossed that what I am guessing will be a hard drive replacement gives me a fully functional laptop.
Summary: Awesome laptop - works great, has awesome multitouch support. For those who are interested in using this laptop as a Hackintosh - namely with Mavericks. I want to let you know that it's a very, very painful process to get things working. I'm no newbie, either. I've gotten over 8 builds working entirely - power management, SSDT Speed Step, etc and this one was hard. Mostly because almost nobody has done it / done a write up.
Summary: Performance: 4 gigs of ram + SSD makes even basic tasks work through well. Currently upgrading SSD to a 480GB model (which for the price, this one should have been that large). i5 keeps things speedy NOTE: If you go to upgrade this model's SSD, make sure you do so with an mSATA hard drive (looks like a circuit board). I will tell you that they say there are two hard drives setup in RAID 0 but that is absolutely not the case (at least for mine).
