Summary: i ve been using this computer for more than 8 months with window 8. I m happy about its ultralight weight and super thin exterior. the Magic key works well and i don't really have a problem with power plug locating on the back. the sound quality is really good and it can be super loud - have a powerful sound system. the touch pad is super sensitive and often enough even my tiny hands touche the touch pad by accident then unintended things happen.
Summary: PRO... weight, super light and pretty user friend to tote around DOES hook up to the Apple thunderbolt screen, not easy to find for a ultrabook guess, overall it's "fine" CON... HATE the windows 8 the backspace button is jacked the overall feel of the computer is kinda plasticy Overall, my company gave me the choice of picking a PC or MAC, in retrospect, I should have just got the MAC, pretty much same price and called it a day.
Summary: Config is good but not judtifying the price tag..if its under 800 i can consider this one. in $1299 u get Asus zenbook prime UX32VD-DB71 which is iCore 7 with Nvidia Graphics card..better performance and build As per other people reviews I will either wait for this to lower the price or will go for Asus.. I recently bought the S3 version of it(which i later returned back to Amazon)...the build looked nice but the metal part is only on top display.
Summary: Bought an Acer Aspire S5 and the battery only lasts for 1 hour and 50 mins from day 1 compared to the 5 to 6 hours reviews online. Customer service is unresponsive despite various emails. Do reconsider if you intend to buy.
