AC adaptor died after 4 months. Acer service SUCKED!

Summary: Positive points: The laptop worked well, was light, and fast. And the negatives: - Even as a brand new laptop, it would sometimes refuse to turn on (motherboard problem?). Not what you expect of a new laptop. - The AC adaptor died after 4 months of use. But this is not the worst part! The seller - A Links Systems - just sent me to Acer. THE worst part is the Acer serviece. Completely dedicated to ignoring me, asking me for more info' and then not responding.
Summary: The product say it was refurbished, but as good as new, so I bought it, but I received it with the following labels: - One saying "SELL AS DEFECTIVE" [...] - Another saying "Defective, unit won't boot up" [...] I tried turning it on and it didn't. I'm very disappointed for this experience, I contacted the company (CravingSavings) and they were very kind and managed to refund my money.
Do Not Waste Your Money on This Nosebleed of a Laptop

Summary: Wow! Does this thing ever suck. Black screen, refuses to let you login, freezes at frequent intervals, hard to navigate from screen to screen. Add the egregious Windows 8 into the mix and you have a computer that is virtually impossible to use. Oh, and be sure to call support and be sold a totally useless service contract! These people deserve to go out of business. Minus five stars.
Summary: the hard drive became unusable in less than two months. The two 128G drives are combined with RAID0 to make one 256G drive, but RAID seems to make the drive very vulnurable (and apparently RAID 0 makes it nearly impossible to retrieve your data). I expected more (much more) than two months out of the hard drive, and I'm particularly annoyed by how difficult it seems to be to try to repair, and Acer's built in utilities for disk management don't seem to be very useful.
Got the laptop great condition, but wrong charger received.
28 May 2013
Summary: Really excited to receive it in good time. However all positive feelings were crushed, upon realizing i could not even turn it on nor test it, as the wrong charger was sent. Hopefully i will get the correct one and update with a better feedback soon.
Summary: So - this is my initial review of the Acer Aspire S5-392-9880, I'll update after a month to reflect how I feel then. Really fast and powerful processing! No more waiting on web pages to load! For various reasons I work with multiple web pages open at the same time (easily a dozen). This computer doesn't even blink! Pages do not lag at all.
Summary: Very bad laptop with a bad track pad design. This is worst laptop I have ever bought. The Product arrived with a bad track pad then after 3 weeks of waiting for replacement track pad it failed gain after 2 hours of use. Now the manufacture wants to replace the track pad again and not the whole laptop. The service center is very rude and very slow. The manufacture does not seem to car about its customers. I would never buy an Acer again.
Summary: Power charger broke within 8 months - Acer UK aftercare support refused to replace it. Blue screen of death at least once a month. Overheats far too much. Screen is far too poor quality for an ultrabook. Cheap feeling keyboard. Also, don't be sold by the 'world's thinnest laptop' tag. That thinness means you sacrifice valuable ports...want to connect to a projector? Bring an adaptor. Want to connect to ethernet? Bring an adaptor. Buy a Samsung ultrabook instead.
Summary: I bought this laptop a few days ago thinking it would be very good. It does look good and is very light just what I wanted. It came with windows 8 and this was the first time I used it and I liked it. But after only 20 minutes of internet browsing it dropped connection. I have never had any other product do that. So I reconnected to the internet and then again 20 mins later it dropped. Next day I used it again and again the same problem.
