Acer Aspire One Pro 531

Linkmyster, CNET
15 January 2010
  • Summary: The ACER aspire one 531 looks to be one of the better netbooks around. The Intel® Atom™ N270 Processor and 160GB HDD are the same on most netbooks. Its better feature however is the 7 hour acclaimed battery life, which i have found to be more or less correct.
  • Pros: The large battery life is a definate plus.
  • Cons: The crampt keyboard and unresponsive mouse pad.

  • Excerpt: The Acer Aspire One Pro 531h-0Bk is an exemplary netbook and in my experience is ideal for the average person that enjoys the daily leisure of the internet on the go, whether it's taking it to work, or to restaurants, cafes, or even the train, as I have been known to do occasionally.

  • Excerpt: My old laptop was looking tired ,had a broken hinge, isn't that annoying? It was a quite good Advent 7073,purchased from Currys about 5 or 6 years ago for £399,reasonable at the time as it was ex display.I would not buy an ex display model again,it had a knackered battery due to being on all the...

  • Excerpt: Okay, the best thing about this thing is size - its tiny. You can easily wield it in the palm of one hand, and it doesn't even feel heavy. With a slim case, you would be hard pressed to notice it in a carry on or backpack.
