Summary: Great for travel great for quick acres to notes for business. Screen is a little small can't see all if face book when on. Can't scroll Dow when new window is up. Hard to play FB games since screen us to small.
Summary: This is my second purchase of a aspire notebook and it was a gift. I love and use mine everyday and so does my sister in law who received it as a gift last Christmas. Great value and a work horse of a computer. I would recommend it for anyone.
Summary: Obviously you're not getting a state of the art notebook with this one, but it does have a lot of the qualities of an ultrabook. Super thin, super light and very powerful for the price. This is a "fun" computer, not a work computer, and as such it's perfect in my opinion. The Papaya Milk color strikes me as prettier than the new Apple Macbook Pro they're so proud of in Cupertino.
Summary: I bought 3 of these because they were cheap, small, and did what I needed. All I wanted was a netbook that my mother, father-in-law, and daughter can use to watch movies on netflix, hulu, and other similar sites. Since they don't like to watch the same programs, getting 3 of these seemed like a good solution. On our second month of use, the problems started coming. First, my daughter's netbook froze. Nothing works on it, so we had to do a hard reset and reboot.

Summary: Arrived a few days ago. So far it's been better than I expected. I wanted something small, cheap--but not complete junk. I only needed it for small jobs--writing and some light internet use. Every time I take it out at the coffee shop someone makes a remark about how cute it is. My battery is lasting a bit under 3 hours. The one random thing I would complain about is the power cord. It seems hard to plug into the actual net book. You have to turn it a special direction.
Summary: This is great little netbook. Robust! Battery life is 1.5 hours with normal use... Ordered a 9 cell to fix that! It will definitely benefit from a 2gb RAM upgrade...Western Digital Blue Brand Hard drive... Recommend!! Although the first one was defective, am in love w/ the replacement!!!!!!!!!!! Update: W/ 2 gb of RAM...It's quite snappier! Love it!!!
Summary: I read reviews. I tried it in-store. I was impressed....until i got it home. It looks great, has enough USB ports, ethernet, bluetooth,VGA and even the 1GB Ram is enough for its intended use (light internet browsing and word processing). It's speedy enough and even handled multiple browser windows fine. But then McAfee decides to update itself and the system would grind to a halt until the update finished.
Summary: This was a Christmas present for my daughter, who is a college student (UGA-Go Bulldogs!). She absolutely loves the computer, the light weight, the performance, keyboard and the color. She needed something smaller than her Toshiba 15.4" laptop to carry around to her classes and the library. The Acer fit the bill and is fast enough for what she needs. Her larger laptop can be used if more computer power is needed, but it stays in her room.
Summary: I guess I thought this would get me by until I could afford a good laptop, but it has given me nothing but trouble. I have had it for a year now (got it last Christmas) and honestly, I wish I had gotten a refurbished laptop for the same money. It has a very weak internal modem, not enough RAM and Windows 7 STARTER is a joke. I can't even use my printer without the original disc because my computer won't recongize it-even after trying to download a driver.
