Summary: upon arriving in a timely fashion, and installing the screen i noticed immediatly there were some blown pixels in the middle of the screen. but this was the only replacement i could find so i will be keeping it. better to deal with a few blown pixels then no screen at all.
Excerpt: "...sold my barely used Red Acer Aspire One D255. I also own a Dell Laptop and when I got the Acer, I was happy as to how convenient it is, I was able to carry it around wherever I go, compared to my Dell. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do some of my projects properly since the screen was not big enough. I end up selling it just recently, I was only able to use it not more than 7 times. Performance was OK, I don't have complaints, but if you are not ...

Summary: This desk top sucks... It is slow the batter life is only about an hour if you are lucky. The DC input went after about 5 month so you cannot charge the item. Clearly the worst laptop/netbook I have owned. RUBBISH AVOID.
Summary: The motherboards on these Acer Aspire Ones are known to go out right around the time your warranty runs out. A few months before mine was due, my computer starting having major issues. I got it to the repair department on time, but they want to charge me for fixing something that doesn't need fixing, and will not look at the real problem. They are stalling me so the warranty runs out! Giant waste of my money. I would not buy an Acer again.
Summary: It looks good but the system in itself is a touch slow when comparing to other processors, also the mouse pad is fidely and so it is not comfortable. Otherwise the product does the job that it is supposed to do, handy to carry if you could buy a pouch for it .
