I love the size

Summary: I've had substantial problems connecting to public wifi, since Windows 8 is not compatible with all routers. I wish there were some configuration to solve this issue. Also, I have limited working memory, so programs will close while I'm using them, due to limited space. I love the size, shape and feel of the laptop. The battery is great, and its features are nice.
Summary: It served its purpose but I hated Windows 8 so I sold it. It worked great and was great for a compact computer. The price was good but for $100 more you can get a Toshiba Satellite with more options and features.
Summary: Truth be said.... for the size it does a great job... but the screen is pretty small and there are a few downfalls.... It works fine and does what we need it for.... Price is what really got my full attention and it does more that what it cost.... Great Deal!!!
Summary: I am not a computer whiz. I liked the price. However I had gotten confused by the labeling of this product. It said laptop. But then later called it a netbook. It actually is a hybrid. It has a large hard drive and yet no cd. I can remedy that by buying a portable dvd/cd player. I hate windows eight. I imagine it would be better with a touch screen. I like the size. Three pounds and easy to pack around. It runs a little slower.
Summary: Whie the computer is a great starter for a child. I have lots of problems with it. Battery life, for one is not what was expected, it is way shorter. Also, the network adapter constantly needs to be reset. Also, it runs on Windows 8 which is not very user friendly. Start up is fast. And the kids are able to do what they need to on it so I will say it's okay. There is no CD drive either which is another thumbs down.
Summary: This Notebook is really powerful for its size, Its great for everyday use and for light gaming, which makes its defect even more crushing.....for some reason the notebook does not detect the charger, the only way to circumvent this problem is to remove the battery and start it straight from the charger, then reinsert the battery at which point the note book will begin to charge the battery. What a frustrating defect!...
Summary: When we first got the computer the screen would turn blue and shut down, I fixed that problem, now it takes a really long time to start up. I bought it for my daughter so I told her someday after school this week I would call Acer and see if I can't get some of the problems fixed. I would recommend Acer but not a refurbished one. I should have bought new I don't think she would be havng these problems.
