An ergonomical nightmare

Summary: No complaints about the OS, or the screen res...etc. The location of the mousepad vis-a-vis the keys is such that while typing, your thumbs can inadvertently brush the mousepad, and move your cursor to random places on the screen. Its maddening! Especially if you are typing fast.
Summary: We have had this for a while. For very basic web surfing it is ok, and I mean only ok. It is horribly slow. I have a windows update running on it right now. That alone is such a painfully slow process, that I felt the need to warn folks about this laptop.
Summary: This is the slowest, most unresponsive, trash-laden "computer" I have ever owned. Constantly shuts down wireless card, won't even re-start - you need to hard boot it. Takes ages to start back up. My first-gen android phone is faster...and more reliable. Windows 8 is terrible too.
Summary: I bought this laptop thinking I would have a viable option to use at work and bring with me on the road. It seemed to have enough processor and memory to use on a daily basis but be small enough to be easily portable.
Summary: After having the laptop for less than one week it started giving problems. It automatically turns off and i have to reboot it for it to do the same thing again. This was a great disappointment as i have never experienced such an incident with a new laptop.
Summary: Like you, I wanted to upgrade my laptop to something more portable. As a cheap and broke blogger, this option seemed like a good idea, and the good reviews convinced me that the bad revies were outliers.
