Summary: I bought this for a 2nd laptop for my daughter for travel, etc.She loves it! It's a good size and not too heavy either. She uses it for college and social stuff. We installed MS Office easliy as well and it that works just fine too. I am very happy with the design, reliability, and construction.

Summary: I don't like to give products a bad review but my Acer has had many problems: earphone jack didn't work on arrival, volume too low, touch pad issues. That said, their service department is very attentive and will repair without issue within the warranty period. I might just have gotten a lemon.
Summary: I've had substantial problems connecting to public wifi, since Windows 8 is not compatible with all routers. I wish there were some configuration to solve this issue. Also, I have limited working memory, so programs will close while I'm using them, due to limited space.
Summary: Piece of junk. All I need my computer for is reading the news, checking email, and watching the occasional YouTube. This thing has been dirt slow from day one. Takes forever to load up Chrome sometimes and it has a real problem closing iTunes.
Summary: No complaints about the OS, or the screen res...etc. The location of the mousepad vis-a-vis the keys is such that while typing, your thumbs can inadvertently brush the mousepad, and move your cursor to random places on the screen. Its maddening! Especially if you are typing fast.
Summary: I purchased this computer for my grandaugher for Christmas. It was reasonably priced and with this being her first computer it was great! She could do everything on this one as you could a regular computer. It was well made and worth the price. I would recommend this computer to everyone!!
