Acer Aspire one netbook

Michael Walsh, ReviewStream
15 March 2009
  • Excerpt: I bought this netbook because I wanted something small and portable to take with me when travling like on the train or coach. It’s really quite good and very light. The screen is a perfect size, small but big enough to see things clearly and without scrolling much.

  • Excerpt: My mom went to California last summer and she asked me what I wanted. I just told her that she could bring home anything. I was very surprised when she got home because she handed me a very sleek and thin Acer Aspire One Netbook in maroon which is …

Acer Aspire One is a winner!

  • Summary: I very much like my new netbook. I was able to use the keyboard easily, which was one of my concerns as the device is so small. It is small and light and sturdy which was what I wanted. The only downsides are that the processor is slow and the fan is noisy and almost always on. I downloaded a program to alter the fan settings to make it quieter.

Acer Aspire 1 laptop

Overstock

  • Summary: For years I have been carrying a 13" screen much heavier laptop to work with me. As a flight attendant I am constantly packing and unpacking and taking laptop out to put on the security belt. I love this light as a feather aspire 1. It is easy to pack, carry, and use. When other crewmembers see it they are excited and full of questions.

  • Summary: I purchased this little Acer AspireOne for my husband. It is something he can use anywhere with out any problems. It is great for surfing the internet for research or to do some work at home. It is wonderful and does everything it said it would do. Oh the internet connects fast and there are no drops in connectivity.

Don't Like it On a Train or in the Rain

Frank C, pcRUSH.com

  • Summary: Comments about Acer Aspire One A110-1295 Notebook: The salesman told me to connect it to an external drive for added storage. What!!!??? That defeats the whole purpose. For plane trips it's a great size. But that storage capacity is going to need to be larger before this becomes useful. Keep working on it, Acer.

Lightweight and does not overheat!

Shawn Meckenna, pcRUSH.com
28 December 2008
  • Summary: Comments about Acer Aspire One A110-1295 Notebook: Very sleek looking notebook. [...] easy to set up, works exceptional well, and quality is super. It’s very compact but does not cram everything together on the screen, the screen size is also just the perfect size. Battery life is a little short so needs improvement there. With 512MB of memory and a built in camera I highly recommend to anyone!
  • Pros: Adequate Storage, Durable Construction, Easy To Use, Fast, Large Screen, Lightweight
