Summary: It is very slow, and has limited function. Not really a fault of the company or product, just not what I wanted or needed. I had to buy another product to get speed and functions. As one review said not a bad pc if you have it stolen from your car LOL. It's okay for low level functions like you just use it to email or store pictures but not good for use if you need a pc for work. The price is to high for what you get from it.

Summary: Have to admit, the only thing I like about this computer is that "it works". The mouse pad is way to small and if you rub to far to the right The side bar opens. Freezes up a lot compared to my old computers and is very slow to load pages. On the UP side, It does work in a pinch.
Summary: We bought this for Christmas last year for our high school son. We wanted him to have a computer for the classroom and on-the-go. It is very stylish and super portable, but the frustration from the numerous times it freezes or just won't connect to the internet negates any satisfaction the portability might have brought. I would not recommend. It is super slow processing as well.
Summary: With respect to design, form factor, weight, and the number of ports, this computer is excellent. Very easy to carry and has enough ports for everyday use. But when it comes to performance, the computer stutters and exhibits very irritating lag. It is slow and very weak in its ability to multitask. As much as I like aesthetics, it's hard for me to rate this computer high when it fumbles on the most important reason for buying a computer.
Summary: I purchased this netbook for work and to be honest its a pile of junk. The specification was out of this world for the price and after receiving it i now know why it was so cheap for the spec. I have had net books in the past running 1gb ram and an Atom 1ghz processor and they have all out performed this one by miles with only a fraction of the specification.
Excerpt: i was pretty excited about this netbook and i spent a long time researching this netbook and thought it would suit my needs. unfortunatly once i received it i found it to be badly represented and There is not one day that goes by that this netbook doesn't freeze.
Not great is you want a computer that you can multi-task on

Excerpt: The Acer Aspire One 725 comes with Windows 8 pre-installed. If you need a light portable computer then this is the one for you! It's also cheaper than a tablet. You can also the netbook in a variety of colours which means that you can add your own individual stamp to your netbook. Weight and Battery The Aspire weighs just 1.2KG however the battery leaves a lot to be desired. It only seems to last just over 4 hours when browsing the web.
Summary: The laptop itself is amazing. Perfect size, shape and just the feel of it was sturdy. But windows 8 totally ruined it for me. I bought a samsung chromebook instead of which I have no complains about.
I don't have this, and I probably won't buy it. The next version might be interesting

Summary: The display is apparently rubbish. I already have an Acer with a 1366 * 768 display, and the viewing angles are very disappointing. So this itteration is not being considered. I am however interested in a device with an 11 inch display, particularly if it is 1080p or above, providing the viewing angles are reasonable. I am not interested in a touchscreen display, especially considering the Windows 8 debacle, we can only hope Windows 9 will be better.
