Excerpt: If you’re a high school or college student, you definitely need a laptop to help complete any task in the study. Now, I want to share my experience on a laptop that suitable for study activity. Actually I buy a new laptop for my little sister who is still studying in a college. She is a college student majors in midwifery, so she must stay at dormitory and went home only once a week. Along with the many tasks that course, she needs a computer to help her study.
Summary: I bought this acer 4gb netbook and it works perfectly. It's the perfect screen size it's not too small but not big either. It's very lightweight and I like to use this when i'm laying on the couch or in bed instead of the regular size laptop. It's small enough to place inside of kind of large purse or bag. I think this will be excellent for students to use or as a starter laptop. When I use this netbook it does everything that my regular size laptops can do.
Item shipped fast, seems to be a good computer, seller is an asset to eBay!

Summary: Our Dell just suddenly refused to turn on and our son needed a laptop for school. We were in a hurry. We decided to take a chance on a computer from eBay, hoping to be able to afford one with Windows 8. This computer arrived very quickly, packed well, looks good. It seems to be a good computer. It's taking a little getting used to because it's so small, but the size is a real plus! All in all, so far at least, we are very pleased with this computer.
Summary: Many complain about Windows 8....I have no issues with the OS, just takes an open-mind, and a little bit of time to learn. My biggest complaint is the processor..SLOW. For searching the web,FB....Etc, it`s fine. For heavy computing, I use my beefier Acer. However, the laptop is built nice and for $180.00, sure..why not....
Summary: I would probably give it 4 1/2 stars if I could. Windows 8 takes a little bit of getting use to, but I don't see getting quite as excited about it as many people have. The machine itself I have only one complaint about - when CAPS LOCK is engaged, there is no light that lets you know it's on.
So-so. Better be sure of what you want to use it for.

Summary: OK as a secondary computer but too slow for gaming or for using multiple apps at the same time. Hate the new Windows operating system so I had it scrubbed and installed Windows 7. Lightweight and compact so easy to use in bed or car and definitely less expensive than most tablets. Great for just doing e-mail and catching up on the news and things of that nature but I would recommend that anyone who is considering buying this be sure that it meets their speed and function...
