Summary: I have had this netbook for a couple years now. it serves its purpose but is underpowered for anything more than light duties. It does not handle HD video well at all and I basically have to turn off the HD if given the option otherwise it just stutters along.
Summary: The screen don't fit my computer. It came pretty fast though I ordered Friday night it came Monday morning im in the process of returning the screen for either a exchange or my money back.My advice is to make sure its the right screen do your research.
Summary: Consider that i was looking for a cheap price of notebook laptop but good quality i choice this, but one thing i dont like to the seller they dont clarify in the description that theres NO microsoft stuff like that! It so weird
Summary: This was a present for a non-techno user. Its more than a little slow and I would find the download speeds painful - but it works well as an internet access point - emails, facebook, web surfing. It doesn't have the capability or speeds to be able to do much more than that.
Summary: I didn't have high performance expectations from a netbook with the given specs. However, even browsing in Chrome seems rather sluggish, and Chrome has the lowest memory usage compared to IE and Firefox.
Summary: I was impressed with this machine and the size of the screen. A very good starter laptop that allows for home office use. The internal cooling system makes it great for long-term use, as it does not heat-up that much.
Summary: The screen shown isn't the one they sent, and it doesn't actually fit within my Aspire 722's display panel. It is too wide, and doesn't have the right frame. It IS a working screen, but I can't use it. Update: I was able to get a very prompt refund from the seller, so I'm adding back a few stars.
Summary: Late June 2012: I purchased this Acer Aspire in April 2012 for a cross-country airplane trip. It is a well-built easy-to-use classic netbook with a hi-res screen and plenty of storage. It runs Win7-64 bit and performs as advertised.
Summary: The Acer Aspire I bought has 2gb ram and overall is quite fast enough for my uses and with all my Microsoft Office products. The wireless works very good and I love the unit. I am an usually an Apple guy and really wanted a Mac Air but being that I had to buy an out drive to load software and watch...
