Ok, but lacks power

Son Tran "ST", Amazon
3 November 2014
  • Summary: I have had this netbook for a couple years now. it serves its purpose but is underpowered for anything more than light duties. It does not handle HD video well at all and I basically have to turn off the HD if given the option otherwise it just stutters along.

NIce Netbook

Stella LaRue "kellygirl", Amazon
8 January 2013
  • Summary: This was a present for a non-techno user. Its more than a little slow and I would find the download speeds painful - but it works well as an internet access point - emails, facebook, web surfing. It doesn't have the capability or speeds to be able to do much more than that.

OK Netbook

Jim D., Amazon
26 December 2012
  • Summary: I didn't have high performance expectations from a netbook with the given specs. However, even browsing in Chrome seems rather sluggish, and Chrome has the lowest memory usage compared to IE and Firefox.

Aspire One

gial1, Amazon
27 September 2012
  • Summary: I was impressed with this machine and the size of the screen. A very good starter laptop that allows for home office use. The internal cooling system makes it great for long-term use, as it does not heat-up that much.

Not the screen that is shown

Ethan, Amazon
17 September 2012
  • Summary: The screen shown isn't the one they sent, and it doesn't actually fit within my Aspire 722's display panel. It is too wide, and doesn't have the right frame. It IS a working screen, but I can't use it. Update: I was able to get a very prompt refund from the seller, so I'm adding back a few stars.

Great computer, but hates Linux

Charlotte Burton, Amazon
11 June 2012
  • Summary: I really do like this computer. It's the perfect size for me - small and light, but easy to type on and easy to see. I love that I can have it in a pretty blue color and make it instantly distinguishable from the mass of other laptops and netbooks around, and it takes up very little space, which is...
