Don't. Just... no.
27 September 2013
Summary: I won't be getting into tech details about it or writing too much. I'll just say, at first it was okay. But, after 4 months it crashed to the point I couldn't put a new hard drive in, and the hard drive used could not be used anywhere else. Well, 4 months for a new laptop is not much at all.
Summary: We bought this for my mother for her birthday, as she wanted a laptop. We thought this would be perfect. She had it for a little over a year and now the hard drive has completely crashed and her laptop is toast.
Summary: I bought this netbook a year ago including the 1GB RAM upgrade many purchasers recommended. The only positive thing I can report is that the update was indeed very easy - the additional RAM went in in less than 5 minutes. Everything else has been a major disappointment.
Summary: I bought this netbook for medical school so that I can walk around with my ebooks and not break my back. It worked for about 4 months and one day before an exam I was sitting and reading a power point lecture and it first went blue, then black and that was the end of that.
Summary: I purchased your Aspire One 722 last January for $389. In the past month I have increasingly experiencing 'black screens' initially after approximately 30 minutes from turning on then increasing to within 10 minutes. Exploring your site provided no solutions.
Summary: Had the computer for 2 months and now it no longer connects to wireless. Have tried everything, including talking to the call center tech guys in Chennai and they keep telling me how I need to try to fix it myself, but I've tried everything and it still won't work.
Summary: Don't often write reviews but don't want others to make the mistake I did. Contrary to what some people have experienced, this netbook is slow.... Slow to boot, slow to open programs. I bought this mainly to use as a word processor.
