Acer Aspire One: An Outstanding Piece of Equipment.
9 September 2012
Excerpt: The Acer Aspire One is one of the better Netbooks on the market. With 160 GB of storage, a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a Six-Cell Lithium-Ion battery, it is a powerful little computer. The battery life is fantastic, with a charge lasting around 6 hours. Also, considering it is only 3 pounds, it is excellent for working on the go. The Aspire One also includes a full keyboard and a built in Webcam "Optimized for low-light video chatting.
Excerpt: I just bought this Acer Aspire 12.1" netbook as a Christmas gift for myself, and let me tell you how I was not disappointed by it. I just love it! I bought this netbook, not because I needed to replace an old crappy, I already have a sony vaio and a great dell desktops; however, my 15'' vaio was beginning to get really heavy in my bag with all my books for school, so I decided to look for a netbook that would be really light but still has a great performance capacity.
Summary: I purchased this netbook for my husband in June 2011. He was looking for something smaller and more easily portable than a laptop so he could do his writing and other work in a variety of places. I looked at the iPad, which had a lot of glitz but little functionality beyond web browsing, emailing, gaming, etc. I considered cheaper, less powerful netbooks, but they too seemed to suffer from a lack of functionality.
Summary: I bought this a little over a month and very happy with the item. If you want to be able to see better as far as font goes you may want to buy a bigger, it is kind of small, but I love it so far. Very pleased.
Summary: I bought the new Acer Aspire AO721 to replace an older Acer Netbook. While I loved the old netbook, it was running on Windows XP and really didn't "like" Office 2010! This Aspire is great. I've only had it a week but really like it. The keyboard is "full size" and the larger screen is really nice. And it only weighs 2 ounces more than the old netbook! It comes "loaded" with a ton of software - trial versions, etc.
Summary: I really like this netbook. Glad I waited until this model came along to buy. The slightly-larger 11.6" screen is super bright, super sharp, and the extra inch+ of screen compared to most netbooks is welcome. The keyboard is perfect, with nice size key and a very good layout. The whole netbook is amazingly thin and compact. No bulging battery on this one, they have the battery well integrated into the slim case. I get over 4 hours run time on a charge.
Summary: I like this netbook because of the slightly larger screen and keyboard. I used it mainly for word processing and web browsing and it worked well. Fit and finish were excellent, well made, quality product. I gave it as a gift after using it briefly and was proud to do so.
Summary: I am so pleased with this computer! I previously had a 10" Acer Aspire which I liked and had no problems with but was somewhat slow. I just happened to see this 11" model on Amazon and when I read the specs, I was somewhat impressed. I have a number of computers in the house, mostly Intel processors but I do have one computer with an Athlon processor that has never given me a problem, so I wasn't worried about this model having a AMD Athlon in it.
Summary: I was a little hesitant to purchase this computer without any toher reviews... but I am so glad that I did!! This little guy is awesome!!! I've been playing with it for the past couple of days and absolutely love it. It's the perfect size, it already comes with a 64 bit windows 7 operating system, and the full memory upgrade. The speed is great, and I was able to use the HDMI port to plug it into my widesceen tv and watch a movie last night.
If You Want Something for Email and News, This May Be It

Excerpt: I purchased the Acer Aspire One AO721-3574 Netbook after I dropped my previous laptop and needed another computer quickly. I found it on sale for $248 and thought it was a good deal after talking to a sales representative in the store about it. When I got it home and now, after using it, I find it to be rather average. If your someone who likes to get online real quick to check a few emails, look up a news story, or check your bank account this netbook may be for you.
