Summary: Acer Aspire One D250 is Intel Atom N270 (1.60 GHz), Mobile Intel 945GSE Express Chipset, 1 GB RAM, 10.1 WSVGA. this is a great netbook i love it i would get it if you are just going to go on the internet and business uses for travailing. The Netbook is a very lightweight and has a strong structure. The design is modern and the speed is decent. This is great for pick up and surf. so I like this leptop.
Summary: This is a very solid little laptop with a lot packed in. The 1GB RAM really helps with photo and video editing, disk can hold a lot of images. I especially appreciate the very large keys and decent spacing between the keys - its one of the most comfortable keyboards I have ever used on a laptop.
Summary: Portable, easy to use, even runs office and can multi-task. I'd use a copy of XP that's been "lited" but I found this machine a little cracker and it's my preferred machine to use on the move. Buy the Linux one and then stick XP on it.
Summary: I bought this netbook last week and I am totally in love with it. I'm a windows user and find that while this has windows XP it loads up reasonable fast, has all the applications you would want, including a word processor in Microsoft Works. The screen is great and it hooked up to my wireless network automtically.
Summary: I have had my Aspire One for a month now and I am very pleased with it. It's a nice looking bit of kit, I have the blue version, and everybody seems to want one the minute they see it. It boots up very quickly and is usually up and ready to use in about 30 seconds or so. Connection to the net via a G3 dongle is quick and easy and, because the Aspire is so portable, going online in my local coffee shop is a breeze.
Summary: This really is a sweet little netbook! I love just about everything it has to offer, and am very impressed by its quality and overall design, especially given the low price point. The display quality is awesome. The keyboard is comfortable even for proper touch typing (although had it been any smaller it probably wouldn't have been).
Summary: The preinstalled Linpus OS is great if you just want web/mail access. If you want more of a 'mini-laptop' then it is a bit restrictive. I tried delving beyond the GUI after less than a week but managed to stuff-up the OS (I am new to LINUX!). Have now installed KUBUNTU 9.04 and various other bits of software. This little machine is now the dog's danglies!
Summary: I got my Aspire One in January 2009, mine came pre-loaded with Windows XP 160GB hard drive and 1GB of Ram. It is great, I take it on the Train and everywhere I go really its so small and light. Sometime I wish the screen was a inch or two bigger but it is fine for internet browsing and witting word documents.
