Great laptop for low budget

dan, Amazon
15 August 2014
  • Summary: I've been using the laptop for a week and so far it works well as expect. There are Some issues with USB 3.0 port and the Intel HD 4000 gpu, but its an Intel driver problem. Likes -Price is outstanding (as a refurbished deal) -Backlit keyboard has been appealing and perfect for me -Battery life is fair, I can go up to 6 hours if I squeeze settings, about 3-4 hours for lot of multitasking, 1-2 hours for gaming and other intensive stuff -The system is responsive, even in...

Good budget laptop

Kairoseno, Amazon
27 July 2014
  • Summary: I've had an HP and a couple Dell laptops and this one is by far my favorite. It still has many flaws but after adjusting some settings, it's workable. Pros: -Looks sleek and slim but does not feel flimsy -Keyboard buttons press down nicely, it is easy to tell when you've pressed the button which saves a lot of time when typing passwords. I just like how it feels to type on this keyboard.

Great build quality and fast. Irritating mousepad.

Paul Spence, Amazon
11 May 2014
  • Summary: For what I paid - this is a really nice laptop. Pros: Solid construction, fast start-up, i7 processor, Plenty of memory, good sound with the Dolby equalizer on, several USB connections, HDMI out, lots of support software, decent graphics, touch screen. A classic laptop - I like because it protects the screen. Cons: A little heavy, no DVD player (although I wouldn't use it), IRRITATING MOUSEPAD! It's the only thing that's not well built.

Best computer for under $500

M. HOLBROOK, Amazon
22 February 2014
  • Summary: I bought this computer 8 months ago and with the flash memory to help the speed and all the other features, I still like this one better than any $500 computer available now. I give it four stars because it stopped charging and the motherboard had to be replaced. No warranty if bough refurbished so that was $180 I didn't want to spend. I am so happy with the computer though I'm willing to keep it running.

Everything is great except Windows 8

Soccer Mom, Amazon
27 January 2014
  • Summary: I gave 4 stars because it includes Windows 8, which is undesirable and it crashed when trying to play Sims, but really the laptop is great so far for the price. I was told I can add more memory (I hope this is true) to play Sims, so that is what I am going to try to do.

  • Summary: I got a good price on this... there were wireless range issues (I got a cheap, small USB wireless adapter to fix that) but otherwise, it's been working great.
