Excerpt: I wanted a 14" laptop with Windows 7 and didn't want to pay $1000. This one has an Intel I series processor, 6gb of ram and uses a 20gb solid state drive along with the larger drive. The first one I got had a bad speaker. I exchanged it and the new one has no problems so far.
Summary: I've been using the laptop for a week and so far it works well as expect. There are Some issues with USB 3.0 port and the Intel HD 4000 gpu, but its an Intel driver problem. Likes -Price is outstanding (as a refurbished deal) -Backlit keyboard has been appealing and perfect for me -Battery life is...
Summary: I've had an HP and a couple Dell laptops and this one is by far my favorite. It still has many flaws but after adjusting some settings, it's workable. Pros: -Looks sleek and slim but does not feel flimsy -Keyboard buttons press down nicely, it is easy to tell when you've pressed the button which...
Summary: I found the same ultrabook at Cost co but with 12gb of ram 1tb hdd and an i7 for 599$ and I was bummed but that's not really anything bad I guess
Pros: Everything about this ultrabook is great. Touch screen to specs inside. I use it as a gaming laptop and it handles everything I throw at it. It says the processor is clocked at 1.6 but its dual core is clocked at 2.6 and you wont really notice a drop in performance. All around I love this.
Cons: there is only one con. windows 8 8.1 is ok with the start button but windows 7 is better and that is why I gave it a 4 out of 5. .
Summary: Ordered 'recertified' for $399. Updated OS to 8.1. Acer drivers for 8.1 worked, although I had to install updated Intel ProSet for bluetooth driver a couple times to get it to work. BT is turned off by default. Look in manual. Keyboard lights up by default, no auto dim.
Pros: Boots fast, runs quiet, seems well built for the price point.
