Summary: I had an HP laptop(the least expensive one) and it had Windows 8 which I did not like at all. I gave that one away and bought this one with Windows 7. I love it. It has and does everything I need.
Summary: Laptop is for mother in law, she uses for very minimum activities so it suits her well. Great laptop for what light foot print it is, however it is extremely light in processing power and the bad speaker location and sound level can be a huge problem if videos are too quiet to hear anything.
Cons: -Speaker location and sound is horrible, literally on the left bottom side of the laptop and any videos that are not loud will be way too quiet to hear anything.
Summary: I can not count how many times I have had to hit "undo" to get work back that I inadvertently deleted by somehow highlighting a sentence and deleting it. Or the cursor jumps into the middle of a sentence previously typed and I have to undo that mistake. It is THE MOST ANNOYING feature of any laptop I have ever had. The only positive thing I can say is that it is fast and it has an HDMI port to play movies from the laptop on my TV.
Summary: Purchased this laptop as a replacement for my wife's six year old Dell. Very easy to set up right out of the box. Does not come with all the usual prepackaged software that I usually have to delete. Had Windows 7 Home Premium which is definitely a plus for us. Very fast and has plenty of power and storage for all of our everyday uses. Definitely recommend as a great value for the money paid.
