Summary: I used to have one like this a few years ago that wound up dying of a coffeee spill. I always enjoyed it and thought it was a good deal this time around on Ebay. I've learnt some ways of modifying it later on. As far as Pros and cons go, all the cons have to do with things that i"ll fix later. the keys aren't at all hard to fix up. the Pros lie in the screen size and wireless Draft N connectivity as well as the expandability, some of which isn't familiar to some.
Summary: Have used this laptop (Normal Useage) for around 14 months and the keyboard and everything feels still tight the battery still holds about a 2+ hr. charge. Really no problems but I do try and treat my moble devices with extra care, which I find always pays off in the long run.
Summary: I have purchased my 5th Acer Aspire. All of my kids have one and I bought one for my self and wife. They take a lot of abuse and work very well. My kids are in college and use them every day. Get used to it before you rate them.
Summary: I had this computer for almost 3 years now. I dont have this model i got the cheaper one that was pentium core and just 320gb of memory with 4gb of ram. On the second day of use it gave me blue screen and i got scare but thankfully was not done it again. The problems I facing know is the constant overheating by even the simple of tasks for example im right now i just have typing in my browser and i can feel heat emitted by the computer on my hands and sometimes it gets...
Summary: Acer is a good quality product and the i3 is fast, but definitely more affordable than the i5 or i7, which is why I chose it. You will have to buy a Microsoft Office, as it does not come with the computer, but for the price, it's still good.
Summary: I've had my Acer Aspire for almost two years, and it's not that great. I enjoy playing games and watching stuff on Hulu/Netflix, and my Acer overheats extremely fast. Even with the most expensive cooling mat, it still managed to overheat. If I had to do over, I would have bought something else.
