Review Acer Aspire 5742G Notebook (GT 540M)

Notebookcheck
24 January 2011
  • Summary: Geforce bargain. Acer puts interesting hardware in a low priced bundle that is available for starting at 699 euros. The newest GeForce GT 540M is still extremely uncommon and we also don't find eight gigabyte of RAM very often. Performance for money in excess?
  • Pros: Good 3D performance GT 540M, Good application performance, Nvidia Optimus with low power consumption, Low system noise, Low waste heat, Number pad & arrow keys, Acceptable battery life, An Nvidia GPU for inexpensive notebooks that can keep up with Radeon. The matt surfaces prevent greasy spots.
  • Cons: Contrast weak TFT, TFT not suitable for outdoors, Few interfaces, Adverse positioning of interfaces, Pliable keyboard, Creaking chassis, Even a multimedia notebook has the right of a typing-eager keyboard.

Laptop Review: Acer Aspire 5742G

HardwareCentral
9 December 2010
  • Conclusion: For optical storage, the unit has an 8x DVD drive that supports reading and writing to all platter formats, including double-layer discs. The memory-card reader in the unit is less versatile, though. It can only read MMC and SD cards. Battery life is adequate, but not exceptional.

expertreviews.co.uk

We're amazed sometimes how much Acer crams into its laptops; not only do you get the latest Core i3-370M processor, but there's also a dedicated graphics processor...

  • Summary: Będące obiektem marzeń wielu osób poszukujących nowego komputera laptopy posiadające przyzwoitą kartę graficzną i matową matrycą raczej nie pojawiają się w dolnym przedziale cenowym. Niszę tą postanowił teraz zapełnić Acer i jego TravelMate 5742ZG.

Recenzja Acer Aspire 5742G

notebookcheck.pl
17 July 2012
