Excerpt: I decided to purchase a laptop since I had problems getting my wife and kids off their computers, it seemed that everyone had theirs but me. Well, we have to many PC's and I wanted something mobile, so I went looking for laptops. I searched high and low for one that was both within my price range and had what I wanted for a computer. I came across the ACER ASPIRE 7720-6569 and thought the price was right so I decided to purchase it on the spot.
Excerpt: Purchased this laptop in January 2008, so far it is working well for my needs. It is much faster than the old Compac I replaced. I am trying to get use to the new windows Vista. The only thing I had a problem with is that the computer automaticly had an Acer advertisement loaded as the screen saver. It took me forever to realize it was a screen saver instead of a program that was running.
Excerpt: The one problem with it is that the graphics card is inadequate for virtually any new video games, and it’s very difficult to upgrade it. OVERALL If you’re looking for a fine computer, that’s good for work and basic gaming/internet use, this is a pretty good choice. It has a few problems, but they’re all fixable to my knowledge, and it works fine. Considering the price you can get it at it’s a great deal.
Summary: I have had this laptop for the past 3 years now and i have to say it has treated me well over the years. There has only been one problem i have faced and that is the battery, i am still using the original battery though after about a year it began to hold less and less charge til now where i get 5 minutes out of it if i am lucky. I do not see this as a very valid complaint compared to the specs and the price you would find it in the market for.
Summary: this laptop is brill if you dont carry it everywhere with you, if you use at home its brilliant, its powered like a tower, it so fast and never lets me down, its high quality and last for years...
Good, low cost machine that will cover all your basic needs

Summary: I have only ever owned Acer laptops and have been really happy with them in the past, so when my old one packed up after 4 years of dutiful service, getting an Acer was high on my list of priorities. I'm a student and as such I'm pretty much completely reliant on my laptop - it serves as a workstation, games console, entertainment system and provides the much needed access to the internet. So obviously I'm big on reliability.
Pros: price, battery life, peripherals
Cons: had a couple of crashes and a flashing screen
