Summary: I like the computer a lot - the large screen is excellent. I actually like the keyboard a lot better than others I've used. What I don't like is having Windows 7 as the operating system where you have to key in a password every time you go on. If there's a way to get around that, someone please tell me. Otherwise, I'm quite impressed with the computer - nothing fancy, but certainly functional. Thanks.

I was constantly having to roll back the computer after doing updates. Programs would crash all the time, and it turned out to be a very unstable, unreliable laptop for me.
Excerpt: "...that my girlfriend owns an Acer laptop, as does her Father, her Mother and her Sister. None of them have ever complained about them and I have used three of them and always found them to be very appealing and comfortable to use. Another reason was that I had planned to purchase an extra external hard drive and a DVD ReWriter as I download a lot of movies. A good external hard drive with terrabyte capacity is around fifty pounds. ...
