Summary: I purchased this laptop in 2008 and still use it now. It has had a couple of replacements, but nothing difficult to sort out. The bluray drive gave up after 3 years, managed to source a new one for about £30. The battery also failed after about 2 years, but an uprated on was purchased for about £30.
Excerpt: So I got this laptop four years ago and it is now slowly going into retirement as it has been replaced with a new (and more shiny) macbook pro, but it still gets used fairly often as a mid-spec gaming rig because of the stupid amount of power that it punches out! Summary: I love this laptop they are brilliant and I felt really effended oh and by the way I found one bit on this review (CNET's) that is rong there is actually a button that DISABLES AND ENABLES they mouse You just hold down Fn and F7 and then it's disabled and to enable you do the same thing
