Excerpt: The laptop is a good price with great specs but the build quality is very poor and mine only lasted12 months before the hard disc drive failed. I could temporarily keep the screen picture by keeping the laptop open at strange angles but eventually after a few months the whole picture went. In common with most consumer PCs these days, no Windows installation media is included.
Summary: I'm a graphic designer and this was my first laptop. It was so fast and that's useful because i can show and change in real time my works in front of the customer. The screen is also a good point, it's easy to show what's in the computer to a bunch of people. In the other hand the first thing that pissed me was his wi-fi that stoped working once in a while (I'm not sure is it was just me though...).
Pros: Performance, keyboard, screen.
Cons: DVD Recorder, speakers, Wi-fi and specially HEAT!!
Summary: This Laptop, is good overall, but... The heat is something every First-Person-Shooter gamer will hate! It runs fast though, when you think about what grapichs it can handle before it going to slow down drastically. If you even try to have games like "Starcraft 2" on the highest then this computer laggs BAD! Even in offline mode when playing. But the Laptop can have many games and other program softwares on it (including movies that has been downloaded and etc.
Pros: It is actually quite good when it comes to all the new games, it runs them fast, and without any big issues that you will find with other computers.
Cons: It is very hot where you usually have your left hand, when you play games like "WoW" then you need the "W,A;S;D" to move, and if you try to have your hand on to the computer, then you will burn yourself.
Excerpt: Fantastic laptop for someone who wants to do relatively basic tasks. It looks stylish with the white keyboard and shiny black back. It also has one touch commands for email, bluetooth, and wireless internet. The specification is very good for some of the prices about now for them, but the battery life is very poor. Mine says its got 15minutes left and will then turn off after another 5?
Good for people who want an entertainment laptop, but not without faults.

Excerpt: Anyone wanting a powerful laptop for a decent price ideal for web-browsing, data storage, work and multimedia functions could do a lot worse than the Acer 5920. It is nippy even when running a range of demanding applications and doesn't suffer from overheating as much as some laptops can. However not everything about this laptop is a success, and there are some drawbacks ranging from the pedantic to some more serious in nature.
Summary: I do like this laptop, it is reliable and has never let me down. It has even had water spilt over the keyboard, it shut down, but after a few hours of drying with a hairdryer on warm it worked fine and has never caused me a problem. It the power to cope with lots of applications. What needs improving is that it gets very hot, resulting in the plastic on the back vent crumbling away. Also the optical drive broke. Its also heavy.
Pros: Solid machine, never let me down
Cons: casing has crumbled at the back & optical drive broken within 12 months
Excerpt: "I I bought this laptop for my university. Even though this laptop is ugly but it is good buy for that amount of money. The design of this product is awful, all plastic. I used to get embraced when I used to takeout this laptop out in the university library. If it is left on the table switched off, it looks like a dummy display model. It also is too bulky and used to take most of the space in my back pack. But the design makes it a durable laptop. On ...
