Summary: I bought this item as brand new from here 2 years ago and I am so sorry to say that it was total waste of money . The performance was slow , even though it had 4 gb ram etc.. the charger brocken in 6 months because of over heat . its very slow when you add applications ..
Summary: When i baught an acer aspire 5920g i thought great its such a good laptop and it is when it wants to be !! there great for gaming but verry small hard drive but none the less you could run a few modern games on it when i had mine after about 12 the charger broke but it was only ment to wokr for 6 so i was pleased that it worked for some time after when i bought a new charger (MAPLINS CHARGER DO NOT BUY THEY WONT FIX ANYTHING AT ALL) the new charger burnt the charging...
Summary: Unfortunately we have three of these things in our family. All three have been back to our local agent for various repairs. My biggest gripe is the time it takes for the things to boot up and the process speed. Very very very slooooooooooow. The wireless network is very poor, even with the router within half a meter I am now trying to reboot for the third time to try and get connected to my network. This has taken so far in excess of half an hour!!!
Summary: Fairly short review about the laptop that will cut straight to the point. Despite its technical merits the hardware of the ACER 5920 has a serious fault, and this is an incessant flickering screen. You will attempt to carry out a simple task, whether it be a word document or browsing a website, but instead you are treated with a screen that suffers from PSE.
Summary: I bought this laptop back in April 2009 and within 2 months had problems with the screen. Within 6 months the battery had completely died, even though it had only moderate useage. Unfortunately I had to keephold of the laptop as I was dependant on it for work and now have been told by the ACER call centre that although the laptop is warrantied for 12 months, the battery is only expected/warranted for 6 months; ami therefore expected to buy a new battery every 6 months?

Summary: Acer laptop bought as Xmas Present broke after 10 months (Warranaty 12 months) Contacted Acer Customer service to arrange repair.Customer Service absolutely appauling.Indian base call centre where they will not return any calls/e mails.Repeatedly told to call back in 48 hrs making no progress.Will never buy an Acer product again as it is impossible to get anywhere with their customer service.
Summary: Initially the laptop would not boot up at all -- sent back for repair. Second time it booted up OK and went through all the initial checks, etc. However, in use the screen kept freezing and flashing off and on at the top. Returned for refund. Maybe I was unlucky, but other people seem to have had similar problems.
Sorry guys but my dream lappy was broken from the start

Summary: Acer Aspire 5920G 15.4-inch Laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo T5750, Vista Home Premium, 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD, Blu-ray Drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 i received the laptop the day before my birthday... on the 5th of august, it worked fine for a day and then on my birthday the screen started jumping and skipping and doing sommersaults, i thought this was because of outdated drivers but no, there is a possibility of lose connections, faulty graphics cards or a messed up inverter,...
Summary: Avoid this Acer at all costs I have had it up to here with acer the lcd screen flickers like mad I had to send the machine back to amazon who get top marks for giveing me a refund. Take my advice buy a brand name you get what you pay for and acer are cheap and unstable machines.
