Summary: I loved this computer, but it only lasted me a little over a year. I am a high school student so I needed one mostly for school work and online browsing. It ran really smoothly and quickly, I had multiple Sims games downloaded and it never crashed (like some laptops do).
Summary: The computer itself works fine so far. I bought it about a year ago. The keyboard on the other hand is the worst I have ever had. Buttons are in strange places, which causes all types of odd movements around a document, but worse is that two of the buttons have broken: caps lock and V.
Summary: I bought a new computer thinking it wouldn't have any issues, but apparently acer has issues with windows 7 and there isn't a fix yet. Why would acer continue to put out a product knowing it still has problems.
Summary: Over all, its okay.... battery did not last long as it says it supposed to, the part that I REALLY HATE THE MOST is the power button where it is located.. Everytime i move the screen back & fort, i always touch and accidentally press the button which most of the time I lost the documents im working...
Summary: I hate to see companies cut the battery so much to save on weight, but that is what I feel has happened here. For its size and price tag this laptop is incredibly light, but it also dies at around 4 hours. After awhile of use that will be sub 4 hours.
Summary: I just bought this laptop and although I like the hardware, it does have a few minor parts. Not a bad thing just things I would like to point out. So I'll try to keep this brief and useful. Pros 1. Has space for 8gigs of ram.
Excerpt: I bought this laptop a year ago after my old Acer laptop had run its course. I went for this laptop, not just because I like this brand, but also due to its low price and the fact that it's lightweight. As a student I needed a laptop that was easy to carry around with a reasonably long battery life.
Summary: This laptop is a reasonable laptop with very good price but the main fault of this laptop is while playing high end graphics game like fallout 3, assassin creed, etc cpu temperature hits up to 90c, so to control this massive heat one can buy a good cooling pad and use ThrottleStop software and...
Pros: very good performance, good battery back (on customized power saver plans)
Cons: screen(too much reflections not ideal for outdoor use), touchpad, extreme heat up to 90c
