Excerpt: I'm a college student, so the Acer Aspire 5741Z-5433 fit perfectly in my budget. I purchased it at Staples on sale for under $400. Specs include Windows 7, an Intel Pentium processor P6000, Intel HD Graphics, 4 GB DDR3 memory, 320 GB HDD, DVD-Super Multi DL drive, wireless card 802.11, 6-cell Li-ion battery and a 15.6 " HD LED LCD. I love everything about this laptop, except for a few features (some which I have easily adapted).
Summary: This laptop is simply awesome. It is fast, and is perfect for everyday use. In fact, there is only 1 flaw - the battery. The battery is simply awful, and keeps flashing alot. Other than that, its cool!
Summary: Quick delivery from Amazon, no complaints as ever. Happy with the laptop, decent spec for the price, fan a bit dodgy a while ago, fixed it literally by smacking the underside of the fan very hard. Well worth the purchase. Would've prefered a cool cat Apple but funds were limited. Happy with aesthetics, reasonably happy with performance (use: net, microsoft office, music, general everyday use) Negative: speakers, seem quite poor really.
Summary: The laptop is really good value for money, its fast and it does everything a budget laptop should do. The only problem is the screen, it is very reflective and near impossible to view outside in bright sunlight apart from that it is worth the money.
Summary: Love this lap top. Two flaws hence 4 stars not 5. Firstly I miss the caps lock light. Secondly, I would prefer the arrow keys to be a little raised or spaced a little further away from the rest of the keys. Apart from that its a fab laptop.
Summary: I've not bought an Acer product before but have heard their laptops come highly recommended and couldn't agree more. This is a great laptop it's easy to use and not bundled with too much sofware. I've bought a previous 15.6" laptop in the past but this one is slightly wider. Not ideal for portability but a great desktop replacement. With Intel Core i3, 3GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, DVD, Webcam, Windows 7 Home Premium - what more could you want?
Summary: I purchased this product to replace my old HP notebook and I am very pleased with it, I mainly use my notebook for surfing the net, e-mails, photographs and watching DVD's and downloading video's, and it has coped with all my uses to date.
Summary: An excellent laptop - great value for money. Having never used a laptop before, I find the keyboard more difficult to use than a desktop computer. Also the touch pad mouse is very sensitive, despite altering the setting. However, these are things that one gets used to after a while. Apart from these two points, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Summary: I love Acer laptops. I've always had them and turned to purchasing Acer as Head of ICT in a school a while ago. This new one has flatter keys - very flat keys with the number pad off to the right. This new arrangement is quite useful, but I do need to make sure I am on the right alphabtical keys when typing.
