Summary: hate the design of this Acer and very bad quolity of the product- the buttons starting to fall in couple of months, the charger is not for heavy duty users! the tab(touch pad to replace mouse) is in the worst place- always by accident you will hit with your thumb! do not recommend it!
Summary: Far cheaper than the Dell or HP equivalent when I bought it. 3.5 years old now and still going very well. Replaced the battery after 3 years when the charge in it disappeared but the laptop itself is still great. I will definitely look at getting Acer again for my next laptop
Excerpt: Sadly my HP SleekBook has packed up for now and so I shall be pretty much computerless for 10 days, well I do have this Acer Aspire to tide me over... But like I say I am computerless... or at least I might as well be with this heap of junk...
Excerpt: I have this as my current laptop and I was really contented with my purchase. The big feature has to be the touch screen. I can't say that I really use it that much though....touch screens are for tablets really...and it doesn't seem necessary to have a touch screen for a laptop.
Excerpt: Personal Profile: I am an absolute Power User of computers: tonnes of browsing, photoshop and video editing, sound editing, skype, gaming, music: you name it, I do it on my trusty Acer Aspire. You can definately trust this review.
Summary: Great budget laptop for those who just want their laptop for word processing and watching videos. I've had this laptop for nearly 2 years now, and been using it daily at University. It still works a treat and is possibly the least frustrating computer I've experienced.
