Summary: Its a so so laptop with basic functions but when you try to use high processing applications it does not function well. The graphics on videos tend to suffer or lag. Gaming is impossible on high setting and is still laggy for low settings.
Summary: I bought this 13 months ago as a present to me from my husband. I had various problems with conflict with Windows over the year, but managed to solve them. Then exactly 13 months after my purchase I turned it on and could not open any of my microsoft office products.
Summary: bought two acers at same time...mouse keeps jumping all the time on both of them....you put the curser on something and when you go to click..it has moved...so annoying...this happens on both of them...not happy with keyboard...i am a touch typist but keep missing keys..
Summary: I bought this laptop after reading the reviews on amazon. The laptop performance in itself is pretty good, however my biggest grudge is the keyboard. This is the worst keyboard I have used on a laptop (I have owned and used laptops for years) and considering you use the keyboard every time you...
Summary: I was very happy with this laptop when I first got it eight months ago. I agree with the other reviewers who said it is an excellent laptop for this price. It is very quiet and fast. However, for the past four months, the laptop screen has a bad case of the flickers.
A good laptop if it didn't turn itself off all the time

Summary: I've had this laptop almost two years. It runs well and is a very good laptop, apart from one thing. Ever since I first turned it on, it turns itself off for no apparent reason. It is not over-heating and seems to be an electrical error. I have sent it back to acer numerous times for repair.
Summary: This machine has a good spec for the price but is let down by basic functionality. Can't fault the performance of memory and processor although I don't play games therefore don't stretch the performance.

Summary: I bought this laptop to replace a now obsolete Presario CQ61 which succumbed to a glass of red wine! PROs: It's a significant leap forward with twice the RAM, twice the processor power and almost twice the HDD capacity. The sound card output is much better.
Summary: Computer is 10'ish days old. I just used it for word processing and statistical work. Finished with it monday night and powered it off as usual, the next morning it won't boot up. Just shows "Acer" logo and "Press F2 to enter setup".
