Excerpt: I had a dell Inspiron 2200 laptop. It was getting old, it was slower than molasses, and it was bulky and heavy. I knew it was time for an upgrade when the keys started to break off, no thank to my pesky old cat.

Excerpt: I bought this Acer Laptop computer last year it was a good choice for the money it is a 2GB DDR2 has a 250GB HDD and all the standard computer things. The battery has failed so it is now a plug-in computer the webcam has never been used. This Acer is ok for a first computer it dose everything I need as long as I don't use the o very often as it dosen't work every time. I would still look at an Acer when I replace this in a few years.
Excerpt: I have owned laptops made by Compaq, Toshiba, HP, and others. So far, the Acer Aspire that I've been using for the past year beats the others hands down. The Compaq was the last laptop I'd used prior to Acer, and even tho it had powerful system specs, it was very slow. The Acer loads programs as they should be loaded only taking a few seconds for things to happen.
Excerpt: I think this is a good computer for the price. It has a decent size screen and functions well for the everyday user. Might need more space for those who download a lot, but it is perfect for playing on-line games and e-mail, etc. The only real trouble I have had is with the power supply cord. Since it is in the back, it has pulled out or fell out several times, resulting in a problem where it plugs in there.
Excerpt: I purchased the Acer Aspire 5720-4662 (LX.ALF0X.009) PC Notebook on a special pre- Thanksgiving sale for an excellent price. I was a part time student working full time for little pay so I didn't have much money to spend but my prehistoric desktop PC was just not making the grade anymore. I saw the ad in an email newsletter from the store, which was the only way to hear about this particular sale.
The Acer laptop good, but I don't like the fingerprint reader.

Excerpt: My opinion on the Acer TravelMate 5720 is that the fingerprint reader is slightly touchy. If you accidentally bump it while you are using the mousepad our typing it moves your cursor up to the top left corner and the finger print pops up. Then you have to wait for it to go away before you can resume what you were previously doing. All in all the Acer TravelMate 5720 is a great laptop to use, but it is a little heavy. Other than that it isn't too bad.
Excerpt: I was low on funds and desperater for a laptop when my old Dell died. I do webpages for non-profit groups, and was in the middle of designing when it finally bit the dust. I also had very little money to spend out of pocket right away, so I searched for a laptop that was under $400, had lots of memory and wanted to use it for playing games and entertainment as well. Along came this Acer. I've had it for 2 yrs now, and I do like it.
This was the heaviest computer and would not fit in my bookbag.

Excerpt: I did not like my acer.It was heavy, bulky, and hard to carry because of the size. The battery life was shorter than expected. This computer was so challenging to carry and handle.I could not handle it one hand like I can the replacement computer I purchased. It did not have all the features I expected it to have.In my opinion it was not as user friendly as I expected either.Sure it has the one touch keys but that was the best feature of the computer.I also like the acer...
Excerpt: I just purchased this two weeks ago. At first I was not sure what type of Laptop that I wanted but I knew of the name brand and that geared me towards the purchase. As I looked at the decription and the width of the screen that prompted me to go farther.. I purchased the laptop online and I am satified with the quality, design and speed so far. I would highly reccommend looking into the purchase of this laptop if you are looking for one.
