Excerpt: "...advice, we opted for this Acer model. We bought it from Tesco online, it cost around £360 at the time, as I recall it was part of a special offer. It was a considerable upgrade at the time from anything we had at home, this lappy was running Windows 7 for a start... a few Windows versions ahead of our other computer.. My daughter got on really well with this lappy, but due to her course and funding etc.. she had another one and this Acer came ...
Pros: Well made, good quality - good product
Cons: I can't be sure if the fault was accidental or a fault in the product, but prefer to think not
Summary: Bought this laptop over 15 months ago. It is quick, powerful and has an excellent quality webcam intergrated ideal for skype etc. Since i have owned it, i have had no problems with it at all and is working as well as the first day that i bought it.
Summary: I have owned my Acer Aspire 5536 laptop since September 2009. Since that time I have had one fault only with the laptop and that was when logging on Windows wasn't loading my profile. However this was easily fixed in about a minute or two. The laptop does start to get slow from time to time but I find that regular maintenance such as defrag and clearing old temp files etc keep it running smoothly.
Summary: I bought this about 8 months ago and have come to use it more than my desktop! I got it for an awesome price while a deal was on and it has been worth every penny, runs very smooth as long as I look after it. The floated keys are very nice to use and the colour of the laptop is a nice rich blue. Not too heavy, battery lasts an ok amount of time, enough for me to use when on a train or anything else. Runs the adobe suite as well as 3DS MAX fairly easily.
Excerpt: For a sub £500 laptop, this little Acer beauty will impress. I bought one of these recently after looking through all the usuals such as Dell, Compaq and Toshiba and for the money, this one beats the rest hands down. I ended up going to Currys as they had the best deal available - I would recommend getting the 4GB of RAM and then upgrading to Windows 7 64bit as the 32bit version bundles with most laptops only utilises 2GB of memory.

Pros: Fast, light, excellent features, AWESOME value for money
Cons: You need to upgrade to 64bit Windows to utilise the 4GB RAM .
Summary: EXCELLENT COMPUTER FOR THE PRICE. I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY STUDENT SON WHO HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD A COMPUTER THAT COST TWICE AS MUCH AND THIS IS JUST AS GOOD, IF NOT BETTER. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT.
Excerpt: "This laptop from the Acer Aspire series is one of a kind. Personally i have had many laptops in my time and without a doubt this has to be the best. With previous laptops I have had various issues with response time of the laptop when doing various tasks such as gaming e.t.c. But i have found from this laptop that it is an excellent laptop to do pretty much any task you throw at it. It can achieve your goal in a fast and efficient way. I would fully ...
Pros: Reliable, Fast and can achieve any task thrown at it
